I got set an elements challenge by a friend and I just found this on my hard drive haha it's really random, but I wrote it in literally five minutes. The elements were shoes, cuddly tiger, operating theatre but no operation, the colour Red and Meredith's mom.
It's random... I have warned you! R'n'R anyways!

"Are you sure this is legal?" asked Meredith.
She and Derek were inside the operating theatre, but without a patient. In fact, Meredith had no idea why they were there at all. A surprise, Derek had said.
"Legal? Nope," was all that Derek could offer by way of reply.
He led her around the medical machines that littered the theatre; a defibrillator and a heart rate monitor and a cuddly toy tiger.
A cuddly toy tiger?
"Derek! There's a kid's… thing in here!" Meredith whispered frantically.
"A what?"
"A thing!" Meredith insisted.
Derek picked up 'the thing' with a sceptical look as Meredith remembered something she'd heard.
"Ooh I overheard Alex and Izzy talking with a paediatric surgeon earlier… might be from that."
Derek eyed Meredith's expression closely and then, with a slight shake of his head, he took her hand and gently pulled her forwards so that they were standing by the operating table itself.
"Derek, you still haven't told me why we're here!
"Well… you did challenge me to find the strangest place to have sex…"
Meredith leaned in so their faces were almost touching.
"I did, didn't I?"

"Ellis! How many times to I have to explain? You can't perform operations anymore!" The chief followed Ellis Grey through the hospital to an empty O.R. and was becoming more and more exasperated as they got closer.
"You don't understand!" Ellis insisted. "I'm the only surgeon qualified to perform this procedure out of everyone in the whole hospital! I have to do it!"
And with that, Ellis flung open the doors to the O.R. and entered with her head held high.
The very same O.R. that, only a few minutes ago, Meredith and Derek had entered.
The chief followed close behind Ellis and as soon as he got inside, he walked into her back.
Looking over her head, he saw why she had stopped so abruptly.
A fully dressed Derek was standing over Meredith, who was lying on the operating table, without a shirt.
"Well Doctor Grey, you don't have breast cancer!" said Derek in a concluding tone.
"Thank you Doctor Shepard!" she said as she pulled her shirt on, covering her red bra, and picked up her shoes.
The two of them walked quickly and smartly past the Chief and Ellis.
As the door shut behind them, the Chief said to Ellis, "I'll be right back."
