Lilacs
Dick stepped into Gotham Academy. It was February fourteenth— Valentine's Day.
The halls were filled with teenagers giving presents to their friends and their Valentines, happy squeals and disappointed sighs came from some of the people's mouths. Richard Grayson could care less about the majority of people in the hall.
Dick walked calmly forward and engulfed his friend in a hug when he finally reached her. "Hey Dick."
"Hey Babs," Dick said, smiling. "Be my Valentine?"
"Always," She said, laughing. They pulled away from each other and Dick pulled a lavender colored Lilac out of nowhere and handed it to his red-headed Valentine.
"What, no rose?" Babs teased, looking around the room at how all the other girls got roses or carnations. Dick shook his head. "Not for you, Babs. I think that you'd rather have a Lilac instead of an ordinary red rose or red carnation."
"Maybe, maybe not." Babs reached into her back pocket and pulled something out. "Do you know how hard it was to find you something for Valentine's Day?"
"Oooo, you got me a present! Feeling the aster!" Richard Grayson smiled widely, showing off his childish side.
"Here it is!" Babs giggled, handing him a piece of paper. She then kissed his cheek and ran off down the hall as Richard unfolded the piece of paper.
The paper said:
This paper entitles you to one free lovin' from me (Barbra Gordon)— It will expire exactly twenty minutes after you get it, so hurry up and try to find me!
Dick's eyes widened a ton and then his face was covered with a giant smirk. She didn't think that he would find her in time… He dropped his backpack by Barbra's locker and immediately followed after her, knowing before she did, where she would be going.
Thank God for Batman showing him basic tracking skills.
A/N: I got the idea of this story while talking to my brother… We are such big pervs… Okay, the last sentence seems familiar, but I didn't copy and paste it, so everythings good… right? RIGHT?
Anyway, I got the 'Feeling the aster' part from DeviantArt where everyone says that hes feeling the aster on their YJ memes…
