Tendencies
A wound
in my heart bleeding deep inside
You you bastard, have left
my side
Left me to die in the
cold rain
Left me to suffer alone
The real wound is in my side
The blood flows free
I'm feeling sort of weak
Is it crimson and ambrosia
Like silken and lace?
Is it going to cover my own
place?
Sinking to the floor, I can't
feel my legs
Still, you've left me
to die
And because of me
Your taking the whole world
to hell
I should have been able to
stop you
They're all around me
I can feel them here.
Open my eyes!!
I want to see them one last
time
I just can't seem to open my
eyes
I can't feel anything
I smell the musty air.
'Come die with me.'
Your an evil man
To say that so sweet
And they do, one by one my
friends fall
I open my eyes long enough
to catch one last glimpse
Of her red hair
His wacky grin
His glasses crushed by your
feet
My friends are falling
I can still taste the
the bitter copper
As she washes over me
Her red hair spread over my
stomach
But one final friend remains
She bends and kisses me one
last time
Revealing her true feelings
And your dust scatters because
of it
Is my world still going
to hell?
Am I still going to die?
She holds my hand and whispers
her final good-byes
Before she sacrifices herself
to the flames
Red hot coals, blue cool toes
Good-byes are quite bittersweet
