I should tell you I wrote this at 3 in the morning and didn't really edit it. Whoops. Anyway, first time posting in the Frozen fandom, so I'm excited about that! Frozen is one of my all time favorite Disney movies (because it's awesome). I hope I did justice to the characters! This is an AU so Elsa's character is a bit different than in the movie. Enjoy!
Disclaimer-I don't own Frozen. If I did there would be even more Frozen than there is now.
"Shhhhhhhh!" A freckled female held a slender finger to her lips, her big blue eyes focused in front of her. Her companion stared at her doubtfully and scrunched up her eyebrows, turning her gaze forward.
"He's going to see us." The skeptical sister pointed out, ignoring her orders to stay silent. The other rapidly shook her head, causing strawberry strands to fly from her braids.
"Elsa!" She whisper yelled. "Have some faith-we are perfectly hidden."
"Anna." Elsa started in a calm voice. "We are crouched inside a bush." The older sister wasn't wrong; the pair was currently smashed in a somewhat large shrub. Branches poked them from all sides, and dirt was already starting to smudge their clothes.
"I realized that, but it's only for a bit longer-oh! There he is!" Anna let out an adoring gasp as a handsome boy with auburn hair and emerald eyes strolled lazily out of the school. "Hans…"
"Oh boy." Elsa moaned, preparing herself for the look-how-cute-he-is speech. The male strutted confidently out of the school and next to the bushes, his pack of friends trailing behind him. Elsa didn't care much for the seemingly arrogant way he carried himself-she thanked her good judgement for that-but nothing she could say could draw Anna out of her spell.
"Oh, isn't he dreamy?" Anna drawled, practically drooling.
"Yes, that hair gel is a real heartthrob. Ow!" Elsa squeaked, rubbing the spot on her arm that Anna had attacked in response to the sarcasm.
"Should I talk to him?"
"Take a chance and go for it!" The eldest prodded. Anna nodded, softly at first and then faster.
"I'll do it." She murmured. "I'll do it!" She scampered (painfully) backwards out of the back of the bush, hidden from the view of Hans. The other half of the duo followed her out, trying to avoid as many scratches and grass stains as possible. The two sat on their knees and faced each other, taking in their disheveled appearances.
"How do I look?" Anna asked with a hopeful look.
"Hang on." Elsa said, brushing down Anna's mane and smoothing out her pink cardigan. "There, you're all set. Now go get your man." Elsa encouraged, picking a leaf out of a silvery strand of her own platinum hair.
Anna gave her a nervous smile before unexpectedly crushing her in a hug, which was gratefully returned. The younger stood up and hoped Hans didn't notice that she had just sprung from the bushes. She stared at her crush with yearning awe and then marched forward to get her man, determination burning in her eyes. She didn't look back. If she had, she probably would've seen the muscular blonde boy gazing at her in the same lovesick way.
There it is! Yes, that was Kristoff at the end (if you couldn't tell); he was kind of a spontaneous decision at the end. Oh and don't worry, Anna didn't end up with Hans, she is happily with Kristoff. They found each other-I jut don't feel like writing about it. Let me know if you liked it! ~Jess
