Prologue (Reminder of what happened during Related by Destiny)

Amara's Point of view

For the longest time I tried to out run my destiny. At first I did not know why and then the visions of destruction started, and I knew. I knew that I was out running my destiny because I feared it, and what's funny is I still do sometimes. Michelle tried countless times to help me accept my fate but I refused to accept or believe anything she said. Although I thought Michelle couldn't possibly know how I felt at that time I was wrong. She's had the same hopeless feeling of letting destiny rule her life, although we don't like it at times, we've come to accept it and try our bets to protect Tokyo from heart snatchers. As I look at the heart snatcher Ugille (pronounce Ugille that rhymes with feel) try to take Ellsa's heart crystal, with no avail thanks to the other Sailor Scouts, I think of how my destiny was sealed.

I remember I had entered the auto shop at the racetrack I just finished racing and of course had won. I entered to see a little boy about eight years old, he was hunched over clutching his stomach and moaning. "Hey kid what's wrong?" He said " Help me." I bent down next to him and said, "What's the matter? Are you sick?" "Help me?" Just replied and then a low moan erupted from him before he became a big, red, sharp tooth monster. I started to fight him, he pushed me over and before he could attack again, a bright light flashed, and my planet rod floated in mid air. I was about to reach for it when Michelle told me not to unless I was ready to embrace my destiny. The monster attacked again and hurt Michelle while she was trying to protect me. The monster was defeated and the little boy became human again thanks to Michelle.

As this went on I knew I couldn't run from my destiny anymore. I had to stand up,

stop being selfish, and embrace my destiny to help the world. After the fight I asked Michelle why she didn't allow me to take the rod. She answered "Once you touch that rod your life will be forever changed. Your destiny will be sealed and there will be no turning back. I did not want you to take this against your will without knowing everything. This is your decision and only you can make. You don't have to take that rod, you can go live your dream of car racing, and it will never be offered to you again, but this time when you race it won't be because your running. The decision is your but I thought you should know how I feel."

I took the rod and although I still race I have finally accepted my destiny as Sailor Scout and as a protector of the world. Michelle and I transform when I come back to reality, I take the Ellsa's heart crystal, we save the Sailor Brats, give Ellsa her heart crystal back for it is not the one we are looking for and exit the scene. I'm done running from my destiny. And that's my last thought as we head to get ice cream. After all no one ever-said Sailor Scouts aren't allowed to have sweets!

Author's Notes: What Michelle says about the rod isn't word for word from that episode but it is pretty close. I did the boy scene word for word. Stay up the next chapter is coming soon!
