Zim had been knocked unconsious, and as his senses groggily returned to him, he remembered what had happened. He had been in a battle with the Dib-human, who had cornered him in an alley with a set of "alienproof" ropes.

Andrenaline is a curious thing. It is a chemical in the body that, in deadly situations, fire through the nerves and fuels either fear or anger, hence the nickname, "Fight-Or-Flight chemical". A good example is a cornered rat. It will either try desperately to climb the wall, or turn and attack. Though Irkens are not human, they too have a chemical similar to andrenaline (their name for it is Kalen X)

As Zim had been trapped, he had turned and activated the lasers in his PAK. But, before they could charge, there had been a blow to his head. And then he felt nothing.

He awoke to be lying on a cold, hard surface, several feet off the ground.

As the Irken regained conciousness, he tried to get up, but found he was unable to move, or even speak for the gag in his mouth. Screaming into the gag, he bucked frantically, but the rope that held his legs and arms tight stayed firm. Slashing at it with his claws did nothing. And without the use of speech and movement, he couldn't use his PAK. Zim was helpless, and he didn't like it one bit.

"Unhappy, my little alien?" sneered a oh-so familar voice from the shadows. "I hope so." Zim managed to raise his head and see his captor. It was Dib. Who else?

The freakishly-large headed boy stepped into the light in the middle of the room, with a confident smirk on his face. "It's over, Zim. I won. And now..." Dib raised a scapel. "I'm going to cut you up into little pieces. And I'm going to do it while you're consious. I want to hear you scream."

Dib minced over to the autopsy table while Zim squirmed futilely and screamed curses through the gag, ripping at it with his teeth in frustration. Dib pulled on a pair of rubber gloves and, without any further preparation, sliced off Zim's leg.

Oh, the pain! It was unlike anything the Irken had ever known. It was as if giant waves of fire and ice were ripping their way down his body, freezing and burning him at the same time. Blood ran from the stump of where his leg had been as if someone had turned on a faucet of rusty red water. And he screamed. And screamed. And screamed.

Another swish of the scapel, and an antennae came away with Dib's hand. Zim swallowed the scream, and felt violently sick. Losing his antennae made part of his senses disapear, and he felt blind and more helpless then ever before.

Suddenly, Zim had an idea. Through the pain, he shook his head and the gag fell out. Dib smiled. "Ah, any final words, Zim?" the boy said cockily.

Zim snarrled, "You will pay, human. If I obey, you live. If I resist, you will die. And I want you to die." Then, before Dib could do anything about it, Zim had murmured, "Computer, activate self-destruct." Then the building blew up. And then...they were gone.

Author's Note: Yeah, I'm demented. I don't really have any thing to say. I don't own IZ. That's about it.
