Snape's Daughter, Harry's Love

Chapter 1- The Not So Horrible News

"Oh no," screamed Ron. "All we need is another Snape greasing up the place,"

Snape had just announced that his daughter was being transferred to Hogwarts. When Snape stood up and said that his daughter was coming he didn't grunt or narrow his eyes, he was doing something Harry had never, in 5 years seen him do, and he was smiling proudly.

Harry glanced over at the Slytherin table; Draco Malfoy was straightening his robes and smoothing his white blond hair. Snape noticed Draco and smiled at him, but then he turned and gave Harry a look that plainly said- If you even think about looking at her 10 vales of poison down your throat.

Harry gulped. If this girl was the daughter of Snape, then she had to be Horrible.

He went to bed that night dreading the day ahead.

"Hermione, why can't we just stay here?" Yelled Ron as Hermione pulled both Ron and Harry through the portrait hole, down the marble staircase, and into the Great Hall.

Snape was not in the Great Hall. Ron let out a loud sigh of relief and sunk into his chair.

"Don't get too relaxed, Weasley. I'm right here," said a cold voice from behind Harry.

Harry turned around slowly to find himself almost nose to nose with a giggling angel faced girl. She had midnight black hair that fell to her shoulders. Her nose was not hooked like her father's, but perfect. Her eyes were the same grayish color as her father's, but instead of narrowing at the sight of Harry they blinked, showing off long beautiful lashed that made her even prettier.

Harry smiled at her. She blushed and was about to smile back when Snape grasped her shoulder and wheeled her towards Dumbledore. It was then that Harry noticed that everyone was staring at him, so he took his seat between Harry and Hermione.

Ron grinned slyly at him, and Hermione frowned.

And he stupidly said "what?" And turned away.
