Tournament surprise
Another beyblade tournament is coming to the end. You're among the few once who has gotten to the final battles. The winner has to battle the one and only Kai Hiwatari. Many entered the competition just to battle him, and it's been irritation you true the whole tournament, since half of them can't blade at all. In your opinion the only thing that's interesting about him is the fact that he's one of the best bladers in the world.
"And she does it again. Miss is one step closer to the final battle" you sight and walk down from the dish, you just have to win one more battle and you'll be facing Kai. Just another little battle.
"That's it. Miss has done it. She won the last match and now she'll be facing Kai Hiwatari in the final battle. So don't go anywhere people, because the match will soon start."
You're sitting in the locker room thinking of how to battle Kai. This had been your goal ever since you started blading. To be able to battle one of the best in the world. But now that you got that chance you didn't know what to do to win. You sighted as the man on the speaker called you out to the dish. /This is it. The battle of our life. Don't hold back now./ you get on your feet and head for the stadium.
The crowd is wild. They scream and shout as you enter the arena. Kai is already waiting for you at the dish. As his deep purple eyes fall on you, your heart skips a beat. Sure you knew he was good looking, but his eyes are more striking that you imagined. You swallow and walk up to the dish as he follows you with his eyes. As you finally reach the dish he smirks.
"Who knew I would be fighting a goddess." He half growl. You don't know if it's a compliment or an insult so you simply reply. "Well only a goddess can knock down a god." He smirks at you comment and readies his blade, as do you.
"Bladers ready? 3…2…1…Let it rip!" You both launch your blade into the dish, making a crash in the middle of it. You grin. He's as good as expected. For a while you're both being aggressive, fighting for dominance in the dish. Then suddenly he changes strategy. You hesitate for a moment. Defending maneuvers isn't really Kai's thing, so he must be up to something. You bite your lower lip, wondering what to do.
"You're good, I'll admit that. The only one who deserved to win actually." Kai smirks at you. It's then you realize he's been watching you during the whole tournament. You almost start to laugh out loud. "Thank you. I guess I better give you a good match then." With that you charge him with all the power you got. He gets a little surprised, but then grins as you hit him head on. It's a big explosion and a lot of smoke. As the smoke slowly clears everyone looks to see who won. You gasp as you see
Dranzer still spinning and your blade no longer in the dish. You glance behind you to find it lying motionless on the floor.
"That's it. Kai wins!" The crowd goes wild as you silently pick up your blade. You smile to yourself. /At least I did my best, and I did get to battle one of the world's best bladders./
"Hey, was it?" a bit surprised you look up to see Kai standing behind you. You get up and look confused at him. "Grab a soda with me." That's all he says as he starts walking towards the exit. A huge smile spreads across your face and you hurry after him.
