The Life and legend of Franz
Hey it's me Franz. Looking back at my life as it has slowed down, I realized I should write about my experience as one of Erika's Best cavaliers. I remember before the war before I enlisted, it was just me and Forde. We spent countless hours' sword fighting with sticks. I remember the last time we did this. Right before he joined the army. I knew it was my last chine so I was more determent than ever to actually win. I made my attack. Forde dodged then counter attacked me. Then out of nowhere Seth came charging in on his horse. At the time he was just a Level 5 cavalier. "Commander I'm not due to start till tomorrow." My brother said. "Sorry but there's been an attack by bandits we need you now Forde". That was the last time I would see my brother for a long time. In order to get my mind off of Forde, I went to Grado. I went to visit an old friend, well a little more than a friend. We were alone in her house just the 2 of us. I was kissing her so tenderly. We didn't do anything too bad just mainly kissed. "Franz when you join the army what class are you gunna be?" Amelia asked. "I want to be a great paladin someday, so I'm starting as a soldier." Soon I was in the army too. My lance and I worked well together. Seth was my leading commander. I did a lot of stopping bandits and escorting the king to and from meetings with other countries. I was only level 9 when Grado attacked. Looking for someone I can attack with my lance. There were hundreds of them I saw a week looking thief. I killed him easily and leveled up. I was planning on fighting more but then a man named Knoll used an Luna on me and nearly killed me. I was knocked out cold. I missed the rest of the fight. It hard to describe the feeling of leveling up, you feel full of joy for what you will become. I also felt worried about making the right choice and becoming a cavalier. Seth told me to run to find help. I got cut off by 4 bandits and a mercenary. On the other side of my area I was a knight. I killed a bandit with my new iron sword and rode over to him. "What country are you from knight?" I asked. "I'm from Feila sent here to stop this attack." He replied. "Grado has attacked Renais I need your help to save princess Eirika" the bandits' leader was named Dousfous. I pulled a critical with my sword and he died. I gain a second Vulnerary from him. This was my early life as a soldier and a cavalier.
Conjo: little bite of a boring Chapter I know. Don't worry it will get a lot better with the next chapter. More romance with Amelia up ahead. Also Franz will have his own quest for revenge.
