Since this is my first ever ginny and harry fanfiction, please go easy on me. This is my second fanfiction i did before, and i'm warning you that i bail out really easily. Back to the point, this story is how ginny and harry first did a study date but then they fell for each out, I'm too lazy to say the rest, so just READ.

Harry just got another D on his potions essay. He sighed. If he needed to be an auror he has to at least pass potions. He got his potions material and rushed out of the classroom, to find someone who could at least help him study. He checked off the people.

Ron- No way

Hermione- Last time that happened he went to sleep

Neville- Really scared of Snape

Ginny- Never really tried

That's it! Ginny could tutor him, but will Ron be happy with it- it's just a study date, isn't it? He quickly went to the Gryffindor common room.

"Password please?" asked the fat lady- well not really asked, she sang. Just like before. He thought of the time she hid when Sirius broke in. Oh Sirius, his only loving family, but now dead. "Password please!" commanded the fat lady. He just remembered where he was now.

"Ohh uhm... butter nutters" Harry finally said. She nodded her head, leading him into the scarlet and golden covered room. There he found Ginny sitting all alone near the fireplace doing her charms homework. Perfect timing.

"Hey Ginny," Harry called. Ginny turned her head towards Harry and a grin formed.

"What?" she questioned.

"Well remember that time you got an O on your potions essay," he said.

"Well actually that was like years ago- well actually that was three or four years ago, and it was for this moon essay, which was actually reeaalllyy boring to write, but it was also the first time I pleased Snape, and he was really happy-" She kept going on and on and on- and well you get it, like that until Harry had too much of her talking.

"Ya, ya I get it. So back to the point, can you tutor me for potions?" he asked straight away. She looked surprised, astonished and speechless.

"But you're like one year ahead of me, and couldn't you ask someone else," she managed to say.

"Well Neville's too scared, Ron- well i don't even have to tell you, and Hermione's a bit too boring," Harry explained. Harry looked around to see if Hermione was there but then he remembered that she was in arthimancy. "So could you help me?" he continued.

"I would love to help!" she said

"Really!" Harry yelled. Everyone turned their heads to see what the noise was. "Sorry," Harry said politely. "So when should we start?" he asked.

"Well what do you have tomorrow first?" she questioned

"Herbology."

"After that?"

"Charms."

"And after that?"

"Free period."

"Great so we'll do it at about 10:50."

"I'll see you there."

"Well i gotta go, bye," Ginny got up and left to her dormitory. Harry couldn't believe it he has a study date with Ginny Weasley, the Ginny Weasley that's the sister of Ron Weasley, who's his best friend. Harry wondered how Ron would react to this.
