Chapter 1
In the mines of Moria…
"You shall not pass!...fly you fools!"
Princess Nianna woke with a start.
"Not again." she thought. This had been the third time she had had this dream or vision she still could not determine. In her dream there was a band of two men, four hobbits, a dwarf, a wizard, and an elf. According to her dream, something bad had befallen the wizard, but she did not know what.
"Maybe I should just go tell mother what is going on." she thought to her self. Her mother was Galadriel, lady of the woods and Lothlorien. With that she got out of bed and went to look for her mother. Eventually she had found both her parents, but they were greeting some group to their home.
When she looked at the weary travelers, she saw that they were the same people in her dream. Except she could not find the wizard. Then she put it all together; the wizard had fallen into the depths of Moria.
"Where is Gandalf?" her father Celeborn asked.
Nianna finally made her presence known and said,
"He has fallen into the depths of Moria. Am I not correct?"
From the look in all the companions' eyes she knew that her guess had been correct. After that, her mother sent them away to rest. Just as they were going away the elf who she found out was Prince Legolas of Mirkwood, came up to her kissed her hand and said 'good-night my lady'. With that he turned away and left with his companions.
