Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the Tower,
the Titans were decorating, all through the hours.
The tree was pulled into the room by Cy,
While Beastboy flew in to give 'helping' a try.

The lights were hung all around by Starfire,
While Raven sipped tea quietly by the fire.
Robin watched in merriment at the sight before him,
His friends having fun, well, at least most of them.

He went to the empath a little confused,
And asked, 'why so glum? Any bad news?'
'No, nothing like that, it's just not my thing.'
Was her answer, as some bells began to ring.

He laughed, pulling her to her feet as if to dance
And said 'too bad, it's mine, so give it a chance.'
She rolled her eyes, but gave him a smile
Making him think it was worth all the while.

She looked to the tree to see if she could help
But at the moment BB was trying to hold it up with a yelp
She turned to the lights to see she might assist
But Starfire was going so quickly, she was like mist.

Robin took her hand seeing her dismay
And 'Come with me' was all he would say.
He led her out of the room with ease,
Trying to lighten her up with a tease

He laughed as she frowned, but then they were out front
Making her ask about his little stunt.
'I want decorate the door and such
And I could really use your help so much.'

She sighed but agreed, and asked what needed to be done
e thought for a moment, smirking, and said 'for you? None.'
'Then tell me why I am out in this awful snow.'
'Because I wanted you here, and that's all you need to know.'

And while Raven stayed there at his beck and call
He only talked to her, and decorated it all.
'So?' he asked his lovely companion grinning.
'Not bad,' she said dryly, but he considered it winning.

'Come on, I'm sure your freezing,' he said, ready to go.
' One last thing,' she replied bending down in the snow.
In one graceful move, Robin was covered in white.
And then broke out, a huge snowball fight.

The two were laughing and playing without any care.
It was a special memory only the two of them would share.
And as the passed through the doors, happy as can be,
The boy wonder looked up so he could see.

What he saw made him smile secretively,
And he turned to his friend who was waiting happily.
He leaned in close, surprising her, but it was her cheek he kissed.
She gazed at him, and he was surprised to hear that he missed.

She had seen the mistletoe but went through anyways,
For she had been hoping to kiss him one of these days.
And as he leaned back in, she knew he had too.
They shared a kiss that lasted longer than a second or two.

Their secret, bottled up love had finally burst,
And they knew that they had found the good, past the worst.
They heard the clock strike twelve with a loud ding
Then Raven whispered 'I guess this could be my thing.'
