Time to waste
AN: Shortest I've ever wrote! Sorry if it's disappointing.
As Miranda stood there, she could feel cold sweat drench her. Literally. She never did like the Noah. Especially this one, whatever his name is. He is too slick, too smooth… to be trusted. Even his outer appearance screamed 'dangerous'. In siren red, bold and capitalized letters.
"Now, now, Miss…?" the Noah ended his 'playful teasing' with a question. Tyki hadn't had time to ask for the lovely lady's name.
Without thinking, the woman blurted out, "Miranda, Miranda Lotto." She then blinked twice – once in surprise and the other in shock – before blanching.
She had told her name to a Noah! She mentally wailed at her stupidity. Nonetheless, Miranda continued to sustain the time barrier between the Noah and herself.
"Now, Miss Lotto, you might want to err… deactivate your Innocence." The question was met with furious head shaking, implying a 'no' from the exorcist. This is going to be difficult…
…and that's half the fun! He smirked, a playful gleam in his eyes. So what if she's an Exorcist? This lady, Miranda Lotto would not be able to hurt him. (She's too soft! He chuckled inwardly.) Unless she had that annoying Allen or her other friends with her…
"A lovely lady like you should be accompanying me for dinner." Tyki watched in glee as the exorcist's eyes widen and blushed – a lovely shade of pink, he mentally added.
Miranda felt lightheaded. This could be due to two reasons: One, she had not deactivated her Innocence since… 10 hours ago? She does not know, seeing as the Noah's cell does not have any windows. Two, the Noah had just… A wave of dizziness hit her again. Miranda felt her cheeks grow warm, in embarrassment, before paling further. Inwardly, she was chanting. This is bad bad bad…
"Well? How about we spend some time together… you know, alone?"
"N-no thanks." The Noah watched in amusement. He knew the woman felt intimidated, and disturbed.
"Do you prefer the entire Noah family?" he smirked as the woman paled further, eyes wide with panic and hands trembling.
Miranda knew it would be bad.
AN: Should this be continued? I'm putting it on 'complete' till people (ahem...U)review on whether I ought 2 or not.
