SEVERUS SNAPE CHRISTMAS DINNER

yeah okay so here is whats going on. Me and my friend do this thing where we have a Fanfiction to work on every week. it can be a oneshot and short. We randomely chose number to pick the Character it has to involve. And the Subject, like in this one it's Christmas Dinner.

"Dinner! With the Malfoys! How on earth did you manage that?"

Snape looked frantically around him throwing his hand over Lily's mouth.

"Shssh! I dont want people to hear.." he spoke while checking his surroundings once more, mainly trying to steer clear of any 'Marauder'. " Yes, Lucius himself invited me just the other day. You know, just for the holidays."

"Oh, how exciting!" Came the squeel of the red head as she removed his hand from her face.

"Yes, yes... Just thought I should let you know.. Ya' know, to wish me luck and all." He finished the last few words with a smile.

"Ha ha, I know youll do just fine, Severus." She leaned over and pushed a stray hair out of his face "But I do need to start studying for potions or I'll never pass."

" Yes, yes, I know. Have fun," Snape said through a half wave as he began walking back to his corridor. He thought best to actually shower for this event.

"Welcome to Malfoy Manor." Lucius said, arms outstretched as he opened the main door to show the extravagant living area.

"Wow." Severus barely mouthed the words before voices came from what appeared to be the dining hall.

"Abraxas, honey, I think the kids are here."

Snape took in the woman's voice, sounding a bit like his own mother's.

"Yes, dear, send them in."

He noted that the second voice was much deeper and almost annoyed.

Not even a moment later, a middle aged women came striding into the room, red gown flowing behind her as she did.

"Come, Lucius, show our guest to his place at the table."

''Yes, Mum," Came Lucius's short reply as he took Severus's arm playfully, and lead him towards the hall.

Snape had to bite his tongue from gasping when he entered the dining room. There were at least ten pictures almost as big as him spread out randomly on the walls. His attention turned from the decor to Lucius's parents sitting directly across from eachother ten seats apart. He wondered if their family was more... secluded than his own.

"Here you are."

Snape looked at Lucius, who was pulling out a chair that looked like it could be made of gold and made a gesture for him to sit.

Minutes, maybe an hour had passed and his parents still hadn't said a word. He and Lucius kept to small talk.

"I dont even feel like I need to study for this test- they've been getting easier and easier." Severus sighed.

"Yeah, yeah. Just ''cause you think you're the smartest kid around doesnt mean you need to rub it in," Lucius spat mockingly.

"I AM the smartest student around. Therefore, I can boast until I feel I don't need to anymore."

"Heh, thats what you think. Who helps come up with your devious plans? Huh?"

"Fine, I'll give you some of my credit," Severus and Lucius began to laugh at their pointless conversation. Snape suddenly didnt feel so nervous about eating at the Malfoy's.

"Oh, I'm so happy and proud, Severus!" Lily pinched the side of Snape's face jokingly.

"Oh, come on... Were you really worried about me?" He placed his hand atop her's gently.

"Yes. Aren't I always?" She said relaxing her hand in his.

"Always," he spoke, staring down into her bright forest green eyes.
