Disclaimer= Naruto is something that I do not own.

A/N= This is from Naruto's POV. This fic will use a setting similar to what was used in the fic Heartbreak Circle.

Man, class was a total snorefest. As soon as teacher was finished with the lecture, I was out of there before he put down his chalk. I went down to the cafeteria to buy ramen and a bottled water. My stomach was STARVED. I tore through the ramen so fast that my throat felt like it had a forest fire. Hey, that is why I haz water bottle.

I ran into my good friend, Sai, on my way out. His backpack was full of drawing utensils and whatnot. He told me that many of our friends were going away for a competition.

"What kind of competition?" I asked.

"Weaponry Competition Jamboree." According to Sai, there are many competitions in the Jamboree that they all take place simultaneously. Lee will compete, as will Sakura and Ino.

"Guess who is going to compete in the weapons portion of the Jamboree?" How could I not know who was going to be in that...

"That would be, um, 10^2= Tenten."

"Naruto, she leaves in 10 minutes along with the rest of the people."

"WHAT?" I exclaimed to Sai, "Well, where are the buses at?"

Sai calmly explained that they were in the parking lot North of campus.

"If you sprint, you will have 4 minutes to say something..." Sai looked at me quizzically.

"Okay," I said, "What do you mean say something?"

"Naruto, you like her, its soo obvious. Tell her that you like her. She'll perform great in her competition knowing that there is someone out there that wants her to do well."

"Oh, okay."

"You have 3 minutes to say something.."

"Oh, crap."

I sprinted faster than who knows what to that parking lot. Tenten was just about to enter the bus when I called her name. She stopped to check out an exhausted and sweaty yours truly.

"Naruto, what's up yo?"

"Tenten, I have something to tell you.

"What is it?" I wanted to say that I liked her, but I froze.

"I-I hope you do well in your competition."

"Oh, that's it? Thanks Naruto, that is sweet of you." she turned away. I started walking away. I muttered to myself when I thought she was out of earshot:

"No, that's not it. Tenten, I like you." At that moment, I turned around, expecting the bus to have started up. Tenten was nose to nose with me.

She smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips. Then she boarded the bus.

"I still have a chance," I told myself.

My time has not run out.
