Prologue
Secret Facility, Port Angeles, WA. 7:00 P.M. August 1, 2009.
The man looked at his Researcher. "I see you have called me here for something important. What is so important that you call me from my work?"
The girl wiped the nervous sweat from her brow shakily.
She was new, only trying to please her boss. "Well, you see, I think we've found something valuable. Even more valuable than the Avian children."
The man's brow furrowed in curiosity. "Well what could be more valuable than the Avian children? Tell me!"
The girl's Adam's apple bulged as she swallowed the fear she had for the man. "Vampires. Just about an hour away. In Forks."
The man smiled, obviously liking what he heard. "Aw, I see. Very valuable. We will have our special team right on it. They will have three months to bring the vampires to me. I'm sure they will do as I say. For if they don't, something very… dear to them will have to be lost."
And as the man said that, his guards brought out a six year old girl bounded at the wrists and ankles with barbed wire screaming, "MAX! MAX, SAVE ME! PLEASE!"
Yeah, I know, it's short, and i'm supposed to update my other stories. But I've been having MAJOR writer's block on Unknown Nephilim and Maximum X, so I need more reviews to keep me going! So if you haven't read those story's check them out. And REVIEW! On this one too! Oh I don't own Twilight or Maximum Ride either.
