Mitchie's POV.
I don't think I've ever wanted something in my whole life, as much as I wanted Caitlyn to be sitting next to me, while my family crowded around me.
It was Christmas Eve, and she was in Flordia with her family, on vaction(stupid timing) and I was stuck here, with my lame family, in boring New Jersey.
"I know you miss Caitlyn Mitch, but you gotta have some fun, everyone will think someone died, the way the you look" my mom urged me, and I groaned.
"Mom, I'm in love with her, we've been dating almost a year, yes I miss her, a lot more then I thought I would" I said, and my mom smiled.
"You really are in love" she commented, and I rolled my eyes, and sighed, quite loudly I might add.
"Yes mother, I always knew I was in love with her, since the first time I saw her" I said, and my mom let out a low laugh, becoming queit as I glared at her.
"She'll be back soon" she promised, and I just nodded, knowing this was true, but somehow not beleiveing it in my own mind.
I missed her more then I could even put into words.
After meeting her at Camp Rock two summers ago, we found out we lived in the same area, and started to hang out durning the school year.
Then, right after we had first started hanging out outside of camp, she told me she was gay.
My reaction?
To shrug it off, and let out a low laugh, and say "Me too".
About a month after that, we started dating, and told everyone we thought important, and to our surprise, everyone, including all three members of our favorite boy band, were completely fine with it.
"Mitchie time to open your one present!" my dad yelled from the other room, and I sighed and walked into the room, and my dad smirked at me.
"You might want to go outside for your one present, save the rest for tomorrow" he said, and I must have looked really confused, because my mom laughed.
"The best ones outside" she said, and I frowned again, trying to figure out what they were talking about.
"She's back a little sooner then expected" my older brother, Josh whispered into my ear, and I about fainted right there.
I looked around the room, and everyone in my family was nodding their heads, so I took off toward the front door and yanked it open.
There, laying in the snow, being the total goofball I knew her to be, was the best thing that ever happened to me, Caitlyn Geller.
She must have heard me, because she looked up, and a trademark grin covered her face.
"Am I too late for the food?" she asked, and I ran over to her, and tackled her back to the ground, and lightly kissed her lips.
"I love you so much, I missed you so much" I yelled, and I felt her softly laugh from underneath me, and this caused me to laugh slightly.
"I love you too, and you know I missed you, but now, am I too late for the food?" Caitlyn asked again, and I let out a very loud laugh this time.
"No, come on, you big dork" I said, as I got off of her and pulled her up, laughing as she almost fell back down on the snow.
"You know you love my dorkiness" she joked, and I smiled.
"I sure do" I said, and she smiled, and I dragged her inside to her precious food.
