Prologue

I am supposedly so intelligent that I am the smartest witch of my age. Considering that my abilities lie in books and intellectuality. For me to be brilliant am I completely an idiot.

Truly stupid to think I could change him in any way, I always would be a mud blood to him and his family. TO change the status quote it would be a phenomenon.

I have heard a muggle saying and it fits only to my biggest mess up, but I tweaked it to fit my troubles. I stared up gratefully at the moon for it's the only light in my lonely cell.

The castle I resided in was a beautiful one at that; therefore I did not think I fit in beside the magnificent tapestry and divine architecture.

Even this small cell, glowing in the moon light isle, was too great for me. My mind had became distracted by the carefully cut stones and the small cot in my small chamber. The bars that the moon light shone through were steel at the very most.

I heard the door click and slowly turned around to see HIM, my problem and answer, and the problem was I loved him. The answer was not so easy to figure out.

After hours of contemplating on it, I had come to a conclusion. I did not dance with the devil, oh no, II did something much worse.

He slowly swaggered into my cell, and gracefully walked to my side. Squatting beside me, he whispered gently, almost so silently I could not hear.

"Why did you dance with me, little hummingbird", said the man in question.

What I did was dance with his son…
