All my life, destiny has shaped me to who I was before I met you; a strong princess of a culture long been untold from the rest of the civilizations; determined to make sure that the fire that lit us ablaze will be kept untouched. I understood my responsibilities ever since I was a child, despite having dreams of my own but I had such great plans… plans for a greater tomorrow for my mother and sisters… and I wanted to see them through… my life was set.
That was until you came…
I've stopped running away from responsibilities; but when I met you, and got to know you… I became terrified; I wanted to run away- to save myself from being hurt. Because I knew that there were more important things in my life than trying to understand my feelings for you, so I ran…
And the pain that I felt was greater than any physical pain my body had endured… But I had to go on, to keep moving forward.
And yet… I kept coming back; rather, we kept coming back to each other…
Was it fate? Destiny? Was it the will of the Gods? I really wasn't sure.
Until I finally figured out that there was no point of me running anymore because either way, you will continue to chase after me, even to the point of risking yourself just so that you can get an answer from me; just so that you can tell me… that you loved me.
I've never felt such force upon me until that night; it was as if a huge weight had just been lifted off my shoulders.
I loved you as well; and it was a fact I could no longer ignore.
I love you and I always will… and before I meet you in a couple of hours, in the place where we will soon vow our undying love and give a promise to be with each other for as long as we live; I just want to tell you…
