Hello everyone! This is my first time with YnM and I know that this story is not totally great, but I still decided to post it…
This was actually my English essay (again), but because I was thinking 'bout Watari while writing, I rewrote it and put it here…
Disclaimer: I don't own…
I can't even remember how many times that damned professor-wannabe has left the Bunsen burner on after leaving his apartment. Luckily, or unluckily, he gave me the key in order to prevent any very-much-possible threats, like burning down whole building.
Every day I go into his apartment and just snoop around a bit. I'm not a nosy person, I just can't help it. That scientist is awfully interesting and I like looking through his belongings. I also make sure that there won't be any accidents happening. I don't want to be paying for his mistakes.
Sometimes he asks his scientist friends to stay over. Then there are weird scribblings on the blackboard that is in his living room. It's not possible for a normal person to understand the equations written. It's scary actually. All he ever does with his friends is write on the board and talk about chemistry. Well, as long as they are quiet, I don't care what they do.
Occasionally, I even clean up his apartment. I must say that the kitchen is the weirdest, and always the messiest, room. There are food left-overs and molding pizza-slices in his fridge. One time there was even a scientific concoction bubbling in the sink. The bedroom, though, is very well kept and he changes the sheets quite often. That just means less work for me.
Even the man himself is very unique. He walks around in his labcoat and usually ends up in my apartment, because, being as scatter-brained as he is, he can't remember the number of his door. Mine he can, though. Then we spend the evening talking and drinking tea, since he thinks it'd be rude for him to just pop in on accident and leave right away. Sometimes he scribbles on little post-it notes and talks to himself. Then he raises his head, blinks owlishly and finally seems to remember where he is.
All the weirdness aside, he is very young and handsome. My ex would even say that he's just my type with his sun kissed hair and eyes of molten gold. He has very positive outlook on life and he is really hyper. I whole-heartedly disagree with my ex, but I do hope that my damned next-door neighbor likes the home-cooked meals I bring him when I know he's working late and most likely too hard. My life would undoubtedly be boring without my weird, yet alluringly charming and catastrophe-causing, professor-wannabe living next-door.
Review, or my little sister will laugh her ass off…
