"Why?!"

Hanji glared at Petra, who was looking out a window at Levi and Eren, sitting in the grass together. "Petra, I can help you too! Why won't you accept my help?!" Hanji pleaded with the ginger woman.

"Because no one can help," Petra turned away from the goggled woman.

"Why do you always seek help for this from a man who's already taken?" Hanji demanded.

"He's the only one who understands," Petra responded.

"What about Eren? Don't you think he needs his own space with Levi?" Petra stared out the window. "So my help is useless?" Hanji asked. "My help, which is the same as his..."

The words died on her lips as she watched Petra's face contort in pain and anguish. Hanji reached out to try and comfort the woman but Petra was already running to Levi, who stood and looked slightly concerned. Hanji sunk back against the wall, hurt in her soul.

The woman, the bubbly one, the one who never cared if people didn't need her, the one who was always there, finally broke down, finally realizing how useless she was.
