This is written for a "Random Words Challenge" put down by KristyT23.
The Marauders
Working was always something despised by the Marauders, especially when there was something more interesting to do such as prank Snivellus. James had been working on some new spells for a while now and his most successful one was about to come into action.
"Well Snivellus I thought your butt was big before but Gluteus Maximus!" and a pink line came from the end of his wand and Severus Snape's bottom was enlarged to three times its normal size. The whole of the Gryffindor population was in hysterics. All except Lily who was more interested in her pineapple juice to be quite honest. She had never understood the hilarity of bullying someone, especially Severus. He had been her best friend at primary school and now they were basically worst enemies because of Mr James Potter and Mr Sirius Black.
Remus was ok. He never really did anything to hurt Severus or embarrass him, although he never tried to stop it either. Lily could understand why Remus didn't want to upset Severus though. James had told her about his "furry little problem" and she understood that Remus didn't like the others treating Severus differently just because he was a Slytherin with few friends.
Peter just followed James and Sirius to fit in with the popular crowd. Well apart from the time he had turned Severus into a Gorilla. He had only done that to impress James and Sirius though. Remus hadn't looked too impressed by it but nevertheless he hadn't done anything to stop it either.
Lily sighed as she saw the Marauders throwing Severus's wand between them, not letting him have it back and decided she should intervene with a simple "Accio Severus's wand!" and she caught his wand and passed it back to him.
The next thing she knew, Potter was pulling Severus's trousers down again, revealing his polka dotty underwear for the third time that week.
She sighed, grabbed Severus and his trousers and headed inside. Severus looked rather annoyed by the way he had been embarrassed again. "Thanks Lily," he said as she turned the door knob and lead them into the Broom Closet they always hid in when they wanted to escape from the Marauders.
"You're welcome Sev," she replied, smiling kindly at him. "After all it's not your fault Potter is an arrogant Pratt is it?" she said, laughing.
Severus laughed at this, taking his expired cheese sandwiches out of his pocket and eating them hungrily.
"Didn't you eat in the hall again?" Lily asked
"No. They always throw food at me and things like that if I eat in there so I just eat whenever I can get away from them really," he said, dropping crumbs all over his robes as he ate. Once he had finished eating, Lily suggested that they went to find somewhere more private outside where the Marauders wouldn't keep bullying him which he agreed to do. They walked out of the castle doors, only to be hit by a dung bomb thrown by Potter. Severus decided he had had enough and headed back inside to his room, leaving Lily to deal with the Marauders once again.
