StormyMist: Just something I thought of when I was thinking about rain and then that thought turned into snow. And so I decided to make a one-shot about snow. But it doesn't snow often here, even in winter. Where I live, though, about two or three years ago, it snowed A LOT!

Snow

Naruto looked up, mesmerized by the beauty of the flakes of snows falling from the sky while standing just under a branch of a tree. He switched his gaze and scrutinized the village that was in front of him. The Hidden Leaf Village: Konoha.

Snow covered every nook and cranny of the small village: the roofs, the ground, the trees, the statues of the past Hokages….everything. Everything was so beautiful.

All the villagers laughed and the children laughed as they played in the snow; even his friends and comrades.

Friends…….

Sometimes he wondered how he was able to make so many and such good friends he had now. He was the Kyuubi holder and they knew that, but after a while they didn't seem to mind. They made fun of him, yelled at him for his antics, and scolded him for doing pranks, yes. But they were good to him otherwise.

Then there was Sasuke; his arch rival and friend.

Yeah, he's a bastard sometimes. But he's someone he could trust. Someone…….

"Oi, Dobe!"

Well look at that.

"What do you want Sasuke-teme?" The blond-haired teen asked, not looking his way –which was to the right of him-.

The Uchiha narrowed his eyes and walked up to him and stood by his side. "What's with your attitude today?"

"Why would you care?"

"I just do," he said moving to stand in front of him. "Now are you going to tell me or not?"

Naruto frowned and turned away. "No."

Sasuke growled and swiftly took the blonde's chin between his thumb and index finger, making their eyes meet and wrapped his free arm around his waist.

Naruto blushed and tried to get out of the other teen's vice-like grip, but it was useless struggling and he gave up.

Sasuke smirked and said, "How about now?"

A sigh emitted from the blond-haired teen. "Fine, but could you let me go?" He asked.

"Nope, I kind of like this."

That comment made Naruto blush, once again. "Okay. I was thinking how I could make friends like you guys," he started and Sasuke had let go of his chin and let them lean against the trunk of the tree, "and you guys know I have the Kyuubi inside of me.

"It all feels like a dream. A dream that I never want stopped. And I realize it is real. I do have real friends. This isn't a dream, but reality. It's all real. I have people who actually care about me." By now Naruto felt as if he wanted to cry, but kept it in and still looked into the black orbs of the Uchiha.

Then before he realized what was going on, Sasuke had kissed him. Kissed him!

The blonde's eyes widened then closed his eyes in pure bliss.

Sasuke was surprised Naruto was kissing back, but he dismissed and after a few seconds they broke apart, earning a whimper of displeasure from the blond.

"What-," but he was silenced as a finger was placed on his lips.

Sasuke leaned down so that his mouth was close to Naruto's ear and whispered the three words that he always wanted to hear.

"I love you."
