As she ran through the forest she had to wonder how it had gotten to that point in time. Her running for her life, the man she had been crushing on since forever nowhere to be found, and her friends under a spell that became permanent at sunrise. She sighed inwardly and reprimanded herself for thinking so much when she should be running. She had never been extremely fast and she needed all her concentration to get away. She heard the echoes of footfalls behind her. They were getting louder which meant he was gaining on her. She tried her best to get away, but her legs were already straining from the exertion of running as fast as she was. She was afraid that if she went any faster her legs would give out on her. She noticed, as she kept on running, that she was nearing a river or some other kinf of body of water. It was right at that point in time that she tripped and fell. And thats when it happened. The man that was chasing her jumped on top of her stopping her attempts to get up. As soon as she felt his weight on her she began screaming and kicking trying to get him off her, but it was only delaying the inevitable. During the fight he ripped her shirt down the middle and it was lost somewhere in all the commotion leaving her in only a bra and her shorts. She kept on trying to fight him off but he was just to strong for her and he finally gained the upper hand in their quarrel.
"I've got you now." He said. Then out of nowhere she heard someone calling out her name.
"Syd, where are you?" They yelled. It was Sky. He had come looking for her when she hadn't shown up for their date.
"Sky...uhhhnnnnn!" She started to yell for him but her captor cut her off.
"Don't try any more of that little girl," he said, "you're all mine now."
Then just as quickly as it had started it ended. The man was pulled off of her and thrown across the yard. When she sat up, still trying to cover herself, she saw Sky beating the man up and then tying his hands behind his back. Apparently he had heard her after all.
"Syd, are you okay?" Sky asked as he pulled her to his chest in a bone-crushing hug as she nodded. Then when his hand brushed up against naked skin he pushed her back and looked her up and down. "God Syd, you don't look okay."
Syd looked down at herself. It was true. She looked horrible. She had a few cuts on her legs and stomach and her shirtwas completely gone. On top of that she also had a large gash on her forhead from where she had fallen. Considering what was about to happen, though, her answer was still the same.
"I'm fine!" she said. With those words she fell into Sky's arms just happy to be safe and loved for the first time in a long time.
