Remy walked over from where he had been standing in the doorway of the living room for the last few minutes. He sat on the edge of the couch next to Bobby, a look of concern and horror on his face, never taking his eyes from the television screen.

"What' wrong with her? Remy asked, genuinely concerned.

Bobby bristled. "What do you mean? There's nothing wrong with her!"

"She sound' like a smoker." He observed.

"She is not! She just has a husky voice, how is that her fault?"

"It might not be so...'husky'...if she'd stop talkin' so much."

"Her job is to talk!"

Remy wisely closed his mouth. He sensed that Bobby was overly protective of his show.

Several minutes passed in silence.

"What da hell is she talkin' about?" He finally asked in exasperation.

Bobby sighed immediately. "What do you mean?"

"What' 'EVOO'? It sounds like a radio station. How is dat supposed t' make any sense, heh? I don' know what she sayin'." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"'EVOO' is Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Get a clue. If you paid attention you'd know what's going on." Bobby huffed.

"No," Remy said slowly. " You'd hafta watch this show f' days t' understand dis code. You seem to be a great disciple f' dis twit."

"TWIT!" Bobby roared, jumping to his feet. "I'll have you know, this woman is the greatest culinary mastermind, bringing all of us good, tasty, and healthy meals in 30 Minutes or less! She's a genius! A Saint! A Goddess for all that is foodie goodness!" Bobby iced partially up and the floor began to crack with the ice covering it's surface.

"Jesus." Remy said, jumping from the couch before running out of the room, Bobby hot on his heels.

"You're right, she probably is!"

I was watching Rachel Ray today, when I thought of this little scene. It made me giggle.

Now, let it be known, I do watch Rachel Ray. I do enjoy the show sometimes. Yes, she is annoying.

And I'm not all angsty all the time. I do know how to laugh. I hope I made you laugh.

I wouldn't mind if you'd tell me what you thought, whether I hit the mark or missed it.
