Things aren't always what they seem...

In a clearing two figures can be seen. They are sitting with their faces only a few inches apart.
Inuyasha and Kagome were staring deeply into each others eyes. Tons of emotions could be seen flickering through both pairs of eyes. Excitement, longing, and fear were the most notable.
Then it finally happened.
Kagome blinked.
Inuyasha soon followed her example, and also blinked.
Kagome's eyes then filled with dread. She couldn't believe this was happening. She, Kagome, the queen of staring contests had lost. This was unbelievable. She had never ever lost a staring contest before. Yet, it had happened.
Inuyasha was now giving her his victory smirk.
"Looks like you own me some Ramen"
Kagome just looked at him and sighed. She really shouldn't have told him she would make him fifty bowls of Ramen if he won...but the idea of being able to go home for two full weeks was irresistible.
"Yeah, yeah, I know"
Inuyasha walked Kagome back to the well, and she jumped in to get the Ramen she promised him.
