A/N: A little Rachel/Tina drabble because there isn't enough of them in this fandom.
When Rachel breaks up with Finn for the umpteenth, nobody consoles her. They're busy comforting Finn. Perfect Finn. Golden Boy Finn. Quarterback Finn. Glee Star Finn. Lovable Finn. Just Finn. Nobody bothers to ask for her side of the story. Nobody bothers to ask how Rachel feels. Nobody bothers to learn that Rachel caught him with somebody else. Nobody bothers to care. Nobody bothers. That is, except for Tina.
Tina was the only one who noticed that Rachel looked a lot more hurt than Finn. So she did what any good-hearted person would do, she listened. She paid attention. She let Rachel get out all her feelings. She offered her time, and she offered hugs. The shorter of the two makes her gratitude known, and the two soon become inseparable.
After a couple of weeks when she knows she's over Frankenteen, Rachel leans in to kiss the other girl. She doesn't expect anything back, but she didn't want to keep anything a secret. So she's slightly surprised when Tina kisses her back with a bit of force, and it feels better than anything with Finn. Their lips depart and all she can think is: This one's a keeper.
