D'Void wandered aimlessly for hours until a plot point occurred. He began to act like a big dope. More so than canonically usual.
"Oh no, my Null Guardians are in danger," he gasped while gasping. His lungs almost collapsed. But he was okay. For the moment. "I must locate and observe my previous Mary Sue Null Guardian family that I have, because I do! It's completely logical!"
He ran to his bedroom. They were there, sleeping on his bed.
"Aw, so cute!" he cooed.
Then the rebels appeared!
"Damn, how do you bastards keep appearing out of thin air!" he yelled.
They shrugged. "Bad writing?"
"W'ere gonna kill you a lot, D'Void," one of them said.
He jumped on the bed with his precious family of Null Guardians. He hugged them. They all began to sob hysterically together. His pupils enlarged twelve times their natural size. His lip quivered. "You wouldn't hurt an innocent family man and his dead precious children, would you?"
The rebels opened fire with their machine guns without any hesitation.
