AN: Just a little drabble. And no, I'm not dead! I was just away for some time, because

1. My laptop decided to die on me
2. I had writer's block (which is not very pleasant xD)

3. …well, there's no three actually.

Anyway, expect updates soon. I'm almost finished with several chapters on my Naruto fics and expect longer chapters as a gift from me to you for my long absence. Hope you can forgive me xD –bows-

So… yeah… I like the Kaoru/Hikaru pairing. So therefore this! Hope you enjoy.

A fairytale ending

They didn't know when they had started to play the games. They didn't know when they had started to pretend they loved each other in a more than brotherly way. They didn't know when they had started to enjoy it. They didn't know when they also played the game away from female audience.

They didn't know when the game had become a reality.

But they also didn't have time to think about such things anymore. A brother touching his twin brother, his double, sexually wouldn't be accepted by his parents, by society. Sure, it was cute in front of girls, but they would also eventually grow out of such a fetish and would be disgusted.

That was why they both laid awake in bed, naked, after their first real kiss that had become something more, something they hadn't planned.

"Kaoru?" Hikaru whispered, his voice full with worry and sadness. One would've expected him to be glad that he had found the one he loved, but alas, their situation was much more complicated than that. After a long silence, Kaoru answered.

"Yes?"

"What now?"

And Kaoru had no answer to that, because he didn't know what he should tell him. Should he say that they could be together forever? No, because that would be a lie. Should he say that they had to pretend it never happened? No, because he didn't want that.

And, from the way Kaoru didn't say anything and stayed silent, Hikaru swallowed a lump and scooted closer to his brother, slipping an arm around the other's waist and held him. And still Kaoru didn't speak, but instead focused on the rhythm of his brother's heart and the way Hikaru was tracing patterns over his stomach.

He decided, as he closed his eyes and relaxed in his brother's arms, that the questions and answers could wait a couple of hours.

He just wanted their fairytale to last for just a little longer.
