Tails broke down crying again. Rocking himself back and forth. He was home alone. Sonic hasn't come home in days.
"Everyone thinks I'm such a wimp. They won't hang out me anymore because they say, I'm to embarrassing to be around. Sonic moved out. This is our home. We both invested equal time in this house. And he just gets up and leaves, like our time spent here was nothing."
Thunder cracked outside. A storm was begging to rumble. The rain fell hard. Tails let out a scream but covered his mouth. Storms always terrified him. But this time he wanted to be strong. He wanted to prove, he wasn't an embarrassment. He stood up and looked out the window.
"I'm not afraid of you! You can't scare me! I got to be strong for my friends!" The storm rumbled in protest. "See I'm brave! My friends will love me again and care about me! I deserve to be la…"
Tails was going to say loved but a clap of thunder broke his speech. Usually Tails would yell but this time he didn't. His heart skipped a beat and then sped up with excitement. "I didn't yell! I'm getting stronger! I knew I was worth something! Oh, boy I can't wait to see my friends! I've been so lonely."
Lighting struck outside. The sight didn't bother tails, because now he knew he was strong. Now he knew he was worth something. Feeling proud of how easily he overcame his is fear. I can do anything; he thought to himself. But woefully all good things end. When the roar of thunder came, Tails pleasing thoughts left. Tails stood still and silent. He tried to bring back his happy thoughts by saying to himself, "Well, I didn't scream, that's a plus, right?"
Whatever confidence Tails thought he had, his body let him know it was none existent by shitting on the floor. Fecal matter falling and plopping on the ground. Then the world began to fade. His site got cloudy and when he looked around it was as if he was staring through a tunnel. No one was around but Tails still said in squeaky voice, "Help. Please. Somebody help me."
Tails laid down in the fetal position. A puddle formed around him as his bladder went. He closed his eyes and prayed for the storm to pass. As he laid there, Tails whisper a question to the empty room. "Does this mean I don't get to see my friends?" Tails lower lip began to quiver.
