All we ever did was move around
I was always the new kid
never the cool kid
Drew was always traveling city after city whenever he was finished each contest.
Sure he was popular with the fan girls but only for his looks. Never his personality.
All I ever wanted to do
was to fall in love
just to be in love
But May loved his personality. She always said his determination was the most admirable. She enjoyed talking to him and arguing. It was like, teasing to them. Drew was deeply in love with her and luckily, May loved him as well. They soon started a relationship that lasted about 6 months and it was going perfectly fine.

my mind was screaming

On their 6 month anniversary, they both agreed they were ready. Drew's heart was beating so fast he thought May could hear it. His mind on the other hand, was telling him he should wait till he's older when he's for sure about this. But Drew was certain that he was ready.

my hands were searching for
her in the backseat of my car
I just lost it.
Drew's legs were uncontrollable as they both walked into his bedroom. Slowly he put his arms out to find May's waist and slowly they went from kissing to making love.
And I can't believe it.
After the night of making love, Drew realized he had just done it with the girl he loves. He was so happy.
I knew I was only sixteen
but I thought I loved her.
and it'd last forever.
Drew knew he was still young but he was certain that she was the one. He thought it would be like this forever.
"May?"
"Yea Drew?"
"Let's be together forever."
"It's a promise."
But only if I knew
that she wasn't true
how could she do this to me
*BEEP...BEEP…BEEP….*
"I'm sorry." May said weakly.
*BEEP…..BEEP…..BEEP……*
"May! Why? Why would you leave me? We promised we would be together forever." sobbed Drew as tears dripped down his cheeks.
*BEEP….….BEEP………BEEP…..….*
"I'm so sorry…" May whispered. And slowly her eyes closed.
*BEEEEEEEEP…………………………….*
Drew cried even louder, "MAAYY!" his tears were spilling out as he hugged her lifeless body tightly.

He placed a bouquet of red roses on her grave. He felt nostalgic as he remembered those roses he gave to May every time they met. He remembered the first night they made love, he remembered how fast his heart was beating and how his mind was telling him to wait. And when they finished he gave her a rose. All these memories with May are so precious.

He went into his bedroom and thought back to the night, as he started crying. His legs began to shake and slowly his hands reached out, he tried to find her. But she was gone. He lost her, forever.
And I can't believe it.

"May? Can you hear me? Did I really lose you?" Drew said in a soft voice.
