She Moves Through The Fair

This song fic story is being told by Mamoru. The * means that is part of the song.

I had taken Usagi to the fair on a warm spring afternoon. Usagi stood in front of me smiling and looking into my eyes with her deep blue ones.

*My yong love said to me

My mother won't mind

And my father won't slight you

For your lack of kind

Then she stepped away from me

And this she did say

"It will not be long love,

Till our wedding day",*

She smiled sweetly and I kissed her lightly on the forehead.

And she moved through the fair

And fondly I watched her

Move here and move there*

Her blonde hair glistened in the warm spring sun. Her ivory skin glowed like fresh snow under the sun.

*Then she made her way homeward

With one star awake

As the swan in the evening

Moves over the lake*

I went to bed and fell fast asleep as the cool blue light of the moon shown through the window.

*I dreamt it last night that my dear love came in

So softly she moved

That her feet made no din

Then she came close beside me

And this she did say

"It will not be long love,

Till our wedding day."*
