Wednesday 29th April, 7:45pm.
Dear Diary,
I've just found out I'm pregnant. I've taken a test, I bought it from Hogsmead. I haven't told Draco yet, I hope he isn't annoyed. The only person I've told is Ginny, I know she won't tell anyone because she is my best friend, and she especially won't tell Ron. I'll tell Draco tonight after he comes back from tutoring. Oh god, I hope it goes well. I'll keep you updated. Hermione Granger.
Thursday 30th April, 01:06am.
Dear Diary,
I couldn't sleep. Draco came in about nine o'clock. He came in, kissed me on my forehead, and went in to the bedroom. So basically I still haven't him. I'm scared of how he'll react, I don't know what do. I can't tell him...but I have to. Okay I'm telling him tomorrow. Goodnight. Hermione Granger.
Saturday 1st May, 6:37pm.
Dear Diary,
I told Draco earlier today, and guess what...? He was delighted, he said he hopes it's a boy so he can teach him to play football, whereas I hope it's a girl, I would love to have a lovely young lady about the house. I have to go, Draco is taking me out for a celebratory meal, I'll write soon. Hermione Granger.
(Two Months Later.)
Thursday 5th July, 4:19pm.
Dear Diary,
Sorry I haven't written for so long, Draco and I went for the first scan last week, we're having a little girl. Draco was a bit disappointed, but I'm sure he'll get over it. I have some ideas for names and so does Draco. I quite like the name Maisie. Well goodnight, I'll write tomorrow. Hermione Granger.
(Three Weeks Later.)
Friday 26th July, 9:42pm.
Dear Diary,
These past three weeks have been heartbreaking. A few weeks ago, Draco and I were in bed, and I had a throbbing pain in my stomach. Then it got so bad that I started to scream, Draco got up and pulled the sheets off me. There was blood all over the bed, coming from my pants. Draco rushed me to hospital and called Ginny. Ginny met us at the hospital, she came in to the room with us to. The doctor came in and said "Hermione, I'm so sorry but you have miscarried and lost your baby, and you've lost alot of blood from your womb, which means...you will not be able to conceive or carry a child. I truly am sorry for your loss." The doctor left the room and there was an awkward silence. After 10 minutes of no talking, Draco finally went to get him and Ginny some coffee. Then Ginny walked up to the hospital bed where I was lying helplessly, tears rolling down my face. Ginny mopped the tears up with her hand and said "Hermione, if you want a baby, I shall be your surrogate." My eyes then filled up with tears again, and hugged her as tightly as I could without stopping her air flow. "Thank you" I replied almost screaming. I was discharged within two days, I hadn't told Draco what Ginny said, in fact we hadn't really said anything to each other since my discharge. But, there really no need for words, I could see the disappointment on his face. On the night after my discharge, we cuddled in bed, after 15 minutes of silence, I decided to tell Draco what Ginny had said. At first, he was stunned in to silence, then he smiled softly.
