The Blue-Eyed Dreamer
In half-consciousness the blonde lay there on the ground. His usual never-give-up spirit was missing. He felt like he had lost apart of himself. He was usually an optimist, but if you took a glass full of water and poured half of it out, then sat it infront of him, he would consider it half empty.
And so he didn't try to get up, he just lay there. Musing over memories. Battles, smiles, arguments, laughs, life and death. Everything he knew had somehow……changed, and he knew, deep down within himself, that things would never be the same again until he got his friend back. His rival back. His everything back. Even though he was still oblivious to his true feelings for the teme, as he lay there slipping into the darkness, he swore he'd save Sasuke from himself. And then all was black.
The Ice Prince
He walked along the path, getting farther away from Konaha. As well as farther away from the one person in this world who could fill his soul and make him feel like everything could be alright: Naruto. He turned and looked back as he suddenly felt the sense that he hadn't cut his bonds like he had intended to. No, Naruto was still alive, and deep inside, Sasuke was thankful for that. As he walked away into the darkness(in every sense), he dwelled on past memories of himself and the ramen lover. As if to get it out of his system before he pursued what he thought was his deepest desire.
Even though as time went on, Sasuke learned how to completely block emotions, when he lay in bed at night, his true desire was what filled his void soul and lulled him to sleep.
(A/N: Another one of my short stories. Yes, it is I. The magnificently invisible, almost never uses , Sasori. I hope this is likeable. Please review and favorite if you like it. If you don't, I will turn you into a human puppet.)
