Chapter 1
One day 19 year old Rory is out down the driveway at the gate in Malibu with her boyfriend Logan and the big U-Haul moving truck that they rented and Lorelai and Robbie Ray are helping them pack it up to make thier way to Connecticut. A little while later Lorelai looks around and there's no more boxes on the ground and looks at Rory.
"so that's it. So This is goodbye huh?"Lorelai asks her
"yeah looks like it." Rory says
"okay, Miley come say goodbye!" Lorelai yells up into the house on a nice day that all the windows are open so that Miley can also hear her
little 5 year old Miley comes down in her footies pjs.
"say bye to sissy baby she's leaving and probably won't be back for a while." Lorelai tells her
Miley lifts her arms to Rory.
Rory picks her up "bye baby can kisses can I get a kiss?" Rory asks her
Miley kisses her cheek.
"thank you baby." Rory says
"okay you guys should get going if you want to make it to Connecticut by Saturday." Lorelai tells her
"yeah you're probably right." Rory says
"okay bye hunnie good luck drive safe." Lorelai tells them
"we will bye Mom." Rory says hugging her tightly not wanting to let go
Logan watches for a few minutes "ready to go Ace?" Logan asks her
Rory nods yeah.' she says letting go of Lorelai slowly and hugs Robbie "bye Rob." Rory says laying her head on his chest
"take care kido and good luck in school." Robbie tells her
"awe thanks." she says and bends down to Miley
"you be a good girl for mommy and daddy okay?" Rory tells her
Miley just nods and sniffles being upset that she's leaving and hugs her again tightly.
"I love you kido." Rory tells her squeezing her tightly then gently pulls her off and gets in the truck with Logan and puts her window down
"Logan please drive carefully now." Lorelai tells him
"I will Lorelai." he says and starts the truck and they start to pull off
They all wave to each other until they can't see the U-Hale anymore.
Robbie picks up Miley with his hand wrappd around Lorelai's back "hey you okay?" he wonders
Lorelai just nods slightly "yeah." she says wiping a tear from her eye and turns toward the house to start heading inside
"come on kido lets go and take care of your mom." Robbe tells Miley following Lorelai inside.
