New York was lit up by lights of all different sorts but the gang was looking for a specific type of light that a lot of people look for when they come to New York around this time of year, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.
"Remind me again why were here?" Kuronue complained.
"Shut up Kuronue." Kuremae replied backhanding him.
"Children behave you've been complaining the entire time and I'm sick of it! You ruined the seats in my limo, you broke the mirror and Karasu 'accidentally' made Kurama run into the side of the door and dent it. On top of that Kuronue threw his scythe at Kuremae and it got stuck in the roof and let the cold air in and now were stuck in these three cramped taxis, while I figure out which would be cheaper buying a new limo or repairing the old one. NOW SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!" Sakyo said already being quite cranky.
"Oh yay we have a long winded complainer on our hands" Yoko said sarcastically.
"You don't have any room to talk' Yokani said.
The car ride was uneventful after Sakyo's little outburst until they arrived at Rockefeller Center. The other taxis didn't go that bad the only things that went wrong was Hiei was squished between Yusuke and Sakani, and Keiko and Yukina were on the other side of Sakani. In the other car Karasu was picking on Kurama partly to pass the time and partly because he thought it was funny.
When all three taxis stopped at Rockefeller Center they were all to glad to be out of the overstuffed taxis. They walked to the middle evading people as they went and soon were able to get close enough to the tree to see it of course they were extremely early and the tree wasn't lit yet. They all stood around talking and waiting for the lighting which wouldn't be till later. Yusuke soon grew bored and threw a snowball at the back of Karasu's head and hit his target perfectly Kurama laughed and Karasu threw one at him. Soon everyone was throwing snowballs at each other even Sakyo joined in on the fun. After an hour or so the lighting ceremony began and the place was crowded. The first thing Kuronue noticed was the shiny bells and ornaments.
A while later when everyone left Kuronue was still staring at the shiny ornaments on the tree. The entire gang couldn't pull Kuronue away from the tree.
"I hate Christmas trees" Karasu said casually as he blew up one of the ornaments. Kuronue gasped because Karasu happened to blow up the one in front of him up.
"You blew up one of the shinnies!" Kuronue accused.
"Lets go" Karasu said.
"No I want shiny!" Kuronue said.
Karasu then blew up the entire Christmas tree and walked away as if nothing happened.
Kurama does an anime fall and Kuronue was in complete shock from the shiny being blown up and Yoko walked over and smacked Karasu in the back of the head.
"Are you stupid or what!?" Yoko shouted.
"You're the stupid one."
"Oh yay, another thing for me to pay for."Sakyo said sarcasticly as they left.
