All stared in awe and shock as the room turned black and a gate manifested itself from out of the ground. Soon, a light blue circle glowed from the ground and a large ghost-like clown (or was it a clown-like ghost?) appeared. It had a black plus and a yellow plus for eyes, along with a wide yet narrow smile from which a blue tongue protruded from. The red cloak fabric silkily fell, giving the ghost a eery feeling. Gray chains suspended it in air.

"Look, Koyuki! I was right! The world weren't just dreams!"

But the girl looked around in the pure darkness with bewildered eyes, "E-eh, I don't see anything though Ginta…"

"Ho? Only one sees the world?" And the large clown-like ghost (or was it a ghost-like clown?) tossed a green die with yellow roman numerals across the surface, reading off the result,

"The die reads three. Only three will be passing through! One who saw this world, one who believes in this world, and another who wants to escape to this world—the gate will open for these three. Enter."

And Ginta did after saying his farewells to his friend and classmates… but as he walked through the rusting gate, Koyuki voiced a question that made all wonder…

"W-wait! H-he said three—who are the other two?"

But before Ginta could see or think about the question, the space disoriented and he could feel himself being sent to somewhere new.

Both kids (of seven years) glanced up at the ghost that randomly appeared in front of them.

"The die read three. One has been chosen… and two have a choice. To leave for a new world."

And pale lavender eyes exchanged glances with sky blue before both small heads nodded in agreement. Hinata smiled as she stuttered,

"I-is it a p-peaceful w-world? L-like the one m-mama believed in?"

The clown nodded patiently. Already knowing that unlike the other brat, these two didn't know a thing about the world that he was going to take them to… and they didn't have a normal upbringing in a peaceful world like the other. The girl beamed at his answer,

"Naruto, d-did you h-hear that?! A p-peaceful world!"

The blond nodded softly, but asked, "And why are we given this choice? And by peace… is there really no violence everywhere?"

Kid was sharp; the clown had to give him that. But he was not allowed to say anymore so he gave a mysterious smile.

Both kids eyed him for a moment before deciding. He already knew their decision. As he had said to the other blond who already left…

"One who saw this world, one who believes in this world, and another who wants to escape to this world—the gate will open for these three."

Ginta saw the world. Hinata believes in it. And lastly, Naruto wanted to escape to it. The three that the die of fate chose.

"Alright, take us."

And the gate opened for the two as they stepped through.
