I don't own castle
Rick and his girls walk over to their seats at the table to have their breakfast. When they were walking over castle saw the package on the counter. He asked when it got there. When he saw what it was.
Rick said." Mom there is something I have to tell you."
"What is it darling?" She asked with worry coming over her.
"Don't worry mother but the reason Alexis was kidnapped was because of my father." He started saying but was cut off by Kate and his mother.
"What do you mean your father?" They both asked.
He finished by saying. "He was the guy in the sketch you have Kate. Alexis was kidnapped because my dad killed the kidnapper's wife. The guy wanted my dad to come to the surface. So he could make him suffer by taking his granddaughter.
Martha was shocked to hear the reason her granddaughter got kidnapped was to get revenge. That the guy she had a one night stand had done.(Rick's father ) Kate was so worried about Rick not being able to see his father again and even wondering if that could happen again.
After everyone ate and talked. Martha had to go back to her school to teach a class. Kate took the day off to spend time with her family to make shore they were ok after everything that happened.
"Castle, you and Alexis should go get some rest I will finish up cleaning here then I will get some sleep too." Kate told him before kissing him with so much lust.
"Are you shore. I can help?" He asked
"I can handle this you need your rest." She said
Castle walked over gave Alexis a hug and kissed her. He then walked over to Kate kissed and whispered."You know I love you right. Thank you."
Alexis hugged Kate before going to her bedroom.
Kate finished up cleaning the room when she heard Alexis scream. She went running up the stairs to Alexis's room. She walked in quietly just in case she was still asleep. When Kate saw Alexis drenched in a cold sweat. She walked over and set down by Alexis's side. Kate was worried so she lightly woke her up.
"Alexis it's me Kate, I'm sorry for waking you up. But you were having a nightmare. Do you want me to get your dad for you?"
"No don't leave. Can you lay here with me for awhile?" Alexis asked with sadness in her voice.
Kate responds with softness "Don't worry sweetheart I won't leave your safe here."
Alexis fell asleep in Kate's arms just moments later.
Castle woke up to find Kate still was not in the bedroom. He looked on the clock it told him it was 4:17 in the afternoon. He got up to see if he could fine Kate. When Castle checked all the room's he thought she would be in. He went up stairs to check on his little girl to see how she is doing. When Castle walked in he got the biggest grin on his face when he saw the most beautiful sight he has ever seen. His two girls were in each other's arms sleeping peacefully. Rick walked over to were Kate is sleeping. He kissed her on the lips. Kate awoken to Castle kissing her. She looked him right in the eyes to see so much love in them.
"Kate why are you up here?" He asked whispering.
"She was having a nightmare of what happened so I staid." Kate said with so much love looking at the sleeping body of Alexis.
"Thank you so much for being here for my little girl when she needed you." He said with so much love.
"Your family is my family so I will do anything for all of use." She says.
Castle slides a chair by the bed on the other side were Alexis is sound asleep. Castle tells Kate and Alexis he loves them and kisses them before sitting back down holding Alexis's hand. They all fell back asleep with no more worry in their life.
