Crash Landing
Prologue: "We've got Trouble"
Master Chief didn't like Nosgoth, but he couldn't sleep and that was all he could think about. Then he remembered how he got to this horrid place, it was all Cortana's fault. ***Goes in to flashback*** It had been months since the destruction of Halo and The Flood. Master Chief and Cortana had been roaming the galaxy looking for Earth, when suddenly; a large object appeared on the radar. "Master Chief," Cortana was plugged in to the ship's computer. "Yeah, Cortana," Master Chief responded. "We've got trouble" "What?" "There seems to be a large Covenant vessel in the middle of nowhere." "Ah, crap," This put the Master Chief in a bad mood. "Do we know which type of vessel it is?" "No, it doesn't seem be one I have on memory." "Damn, turn around. I don't want to go near that thing in an escape pod." "Fine, I suppose it's better that way." "What's that supposed to mean?" "Well, I was just thinking that we could infiltrate the ship and use it to take us to Earth. "For once, Cortana you're right. I mean after all, I did take out Halo with only help from you." "What about the marines?" "What about them, they were almost no help at all." With that, we set off to what we thought was a Covenant vessel. However, we were in for the surprise of our lives. Well actually life and artificial life.
