Author's Note: Hey. I like to take chances even though we only have one in life. This is my story. My first. I've been writing stories for a while now but I decided to actually put it on fanfiction. I love the work here. And yeah. Please review and while you are at it, be brutal. I just want to see if I should continue the story or not.
THANK YOU!

Love you.

P.s. oh, I don't own any of the characters as much as I would love to. Yeah, a bit different then she is but hey, an author's imagination reaches beyond the heavens, am I right?

"I'm going to lose my mind!" Serena thought as she looked for a certain book on the desk. She moved aside a pile of papers and through five minutes of ruffling papers, she found it.

"What am I going to do?" She contemplated while she flipped to the first page of the Bible.

"Serena, I love you sweetie! You will always be in my heart. When life is rough, open these pages, read it, and know that God will always guide you.

Have faith.

Happy Birthday!

Love Mom."

Serena continuously read that line until a teardrop fell on the page. She smeared it off and flipped through the pages. She read one verse, closed the book and threw it to the bed.

"Screw that." She whispered. She fell on the bed and pushed the Bible away. Tears started to pour and soon enough, her mascara was smearing.

"Mom is never coming back! Why did she have to go in the stupid car? She'll never be there for me anymore!" She screamed in her pillow to muffle the sound. The lump in her throat increased more and more. She looked through her mirror on her wall and wiped off her make-up. Serena then went to her closet and grabbed her denim jacket. After that, she went through her door, closing it gently behind her.

"I can't afford to wake up Dad and Sammy, they are probably asleep, She thought as she grabbed the keys off the kitchen counter. She glanced at the clock, "1:27 am."

As Serena closed the door behind her and locked it, she looked at the beautiful moon.

"The white moon would always be there for me." She thought gladly.

She looked at the cold dark streets and walked on her driveway. She sat on the driveway and stared at the moon for a few seconds. She felt the cold driveway and thought. About five minutes of thought, Serena walked to her dark car and turned the ignition on. She put it on reverse and off she went.

As she drove, she gripped the steering wheel harder. "I have too much stress." She thought while she looked at the clock. 2:14. She turned on the radio.

"Come Lord Jesus, Come.

As deep cries out too deep... Let the pain…."

She turned it back off. "I can't deal with this shit any longer." Two minutes later, she was parking near the curb on the side. There was the lake, the beautiful careless lake.

Serena walked toward the beautiful water, crouched and dipped her finger into the water. Staring at the water, Serena's stress level gradually decreased, although it was still too much of a burden. She sat on a rock and stared at the water. She saw the reflection of the moon and was able to manage a smile. She walked along the coast and felt the mist of the river caress her skin. Serena sat on the brushed grass right beside the water and just closed her eyes.

Thoughts drifted through her mind one after the other.
