There are three things in this world that are overrated: social networks -specifically Twitter, boys, and boybands.
I mean, why do people want to make friends with complete strangers? How do they know their "friend" isn't a 30-year-old pervert living with his mother or something like that? I mean, that's just awkward and downright then there's boys.
Lord, does everything seem to revolve around them these days? I can't even go to the supermarket without hearing a sob story about how Jane Doe's boyfriend, Joe Schmoe, left her for some Mary Jane, after he learned Jane Mary was pregnant. If she wanted to keep him around, she should've either used protection or kept his legs closed in the first place. Drama, drama, what about the boybands?
Don't even get me started on that! They're like cockroaches: ya can't kill them no matter what. They are everywhere! I never saw anything special about them. They're just overrated pop 'bots who are fed to innocent people in order to ruin lives.
So why am I stating this? Simple: I fell in love with a boyband by the name of Big Time Rush. I have created a Twitter to fangirl with a bunch of strangers who share the same philosophy as I do when it comes to them. I have raised my standards in guys to impossible lengths because of them. And lastly my life changed forever because of a certain guy...
