Simply one hell of a Christmas! - Kuroshitsuji Fanfic

This is another one of my Black Butler fanfics that I have wanted to type up for a while. There are two perspectives: Ciel's and Sebastian's. I don't own anything, except my writing skills! Black Butler and all its characters belong to Yana Toboso. I hope all my fans have simply one hell of a Christmas. Love (Simply one hell of a writer) Chase Roy

Ciel's Perspective

Ciel woke up from a relaxing sleep. He opened his eyes and watched his butler fasten his curtains open. Light streamed down upon him and he sat up stretching.

"Good morning young master," his butler said smiling down at him.

"Good morning to you also Sebastian," Ciel replied rubbing his eyes. Sebastian dressed him into his usual attire and gave him his tea.

"Merry Christmas Ciel," Sebastian said bending down and kissing his forehead. Ciel blushed.

"I still don't enjoy Christmas time that much," he replied before taking another sip of tea.

"Well, then I hope you have simply one hell of a Christmas," his butler said his eyes twinkling. Ciel groaned in annoyance and he watched Sebastian leave closing the door softly behind him. The young earl set down his empty tea cup smirking. He began chuckling which turned into laughing. It felt so good Ciel didn't want to stop.

"Simply one hell of a Christmas!" he repeated chuckling some more. He stood up still smiling and went to his office.

Sebastian's Perspective

Sebastian paused outside his master's chamber door and waited. He smiled when he heard Ciel laughing to himself. He chuckled and went to go find the other servants. Sebastian found Mey-Rin sweeping in the entrance.

"Mey-Rin!" he called out startling the poor maid. She turned around to face him.

"G-good morning sir. What would you like?" she asked.

"Nothing. I just wanted to give you a gift," Sebastian replied. Mey-Rin looked confused.

"But why?" she asked clutching the broom. Sebastian just smiled and pulled out her gift.

"A fine gift for a fine sniper," he said handing it to her. Mey-Rin took her glasses off and grabbed the gun. It was a brand-new gun that was made just a few months ago. Mey-Rin finally got what day it was today.

"Oh! Thank you so much sir for the Christmas gift," she said clutching it happily.

"Merry Christmas Mey-Rin," Sebastian said smiling. He turned and headed for the kitchen.

"You too sir," Mey-Rin replied. Sebastian began humming some carols as he made his way to the kitchen. In the kitchen, he found Bardroy and Tanaka. Tanaka smiled when he came in and continued drinking his tea. Bardroy turned around.

"Well if it isn't Sebastian. Good morning!" he said chewing on a toothpick.

"Young master change his orders?" he asked. Sebastian shook his head.

"I just came to give you your gifts," Sebastian answered.

"Blimey! Don't tell me it's Christmas again," Bardroy said scratching his head.

"Sorry but I never got you, young master or the other servants anything for Christmas. Do you think young master will care?" he asked worried.

"He hasn't changed since last year. I don't think he will care," Sebastian said.

"Anyways I decided to get you a new flamethrower after I confiscated your last one," he said placing it on the counter beside him.

"Thanks Sebastian! You know you didn't have to get me anything," Bard said smiling. Sebastian nodded. He turned around to face Tanaka who was still enjoying his tea.

"I also got you something Tanaka," he said pulling out a can of herbal tea. He handed it to him smiling.

"Ho-ho-ho. Thank you Sebastian and Merry Christmas!" Tanaka said cheerfully. Sebastian smiled and went to go find Finnian. He headed outside to the garden and found Finnian playing with Pluto their Demon Hound.

"Good morning," he said approaching them. Finni looked up and smiled. Pluto transformed into his human form barking happily.

"It's Christmas today! So how is your morning going?" Finni asked petting Pluto.

"It's been going quite well so far thank you for asking. I got you a gift," Sebastian replied. Finni smiled again but it quickly faded and he began to tear up.

"I'm so sorry! I never thought of getting you, young master or anyone anything for Christmas! Aww, what am I going to do Mr. Sebastian?" Finni asked crying. Sebastian chuckled.

"Oh Finni. There's no reason to cry so. It's alright," he assured.

"Are you sure Mr. Sebastian," Finni said looking up wiping his eyes. Sebastian nodded and gave Finnian his gift. He burst into more smiles and took his gift.

"It looks just like my old hat that Pluto burnt," Finni exclaimed examining it. Pluto yipped at his name.

"I knew just how upset you were when he did. Now you can cut your hair now that it will cover your tattoo," Sebastian said. Finni looked up at him with new tears and hugged him as tight as his arms could.

"Thank you so much Sebastian!" he said happily. Sebastian hugged him until Pluto barged in wanting attention also. He clung to Sebastian whining.

"Don't worry Pluto. I got you some of your favorite Innuko treats," Sebastian said shaking the box as he pulled it out. Pluto howled happily and he licked his face a couple times.

"Plu-plu no licking!" Finni said pulling him away.

"Yes, I could have done without the licking. Merry Christmas you two," he said before turning to leave. Finni and Pluto nodded. Pluto transformed back into his Demon hound form and played with Finnian again. Sebastian headed back inside the manor to continue his day.

Ciel's Perspective

The young earl was in his office fighting to wrap up a stuffed toy cat. It was going to be his Christmas gift for his cat obsessed butler. He had his company make a Funtomcat just for Sebastian.

"I know he's just going to love it!" Ciel thought smiling as he quickly scribbled Sebastian's name on it. He grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a quick note.

"Merry Xmas Sebastian. I got you a cat that I'm not allergic to!" he scribbled down on the note. Still smiling he grabbed a piece of tape and stuck it to the wrapping paper. Ciel heard knocking on the door and quickly shoved the present in one of his desk drawers.

"Yes! Who is it?" he called out sitting on his chair and facing it towards the window.

"It's me my lord. I have to get you dressed for the evening stroll," his butler replied.

"It's fine Sebastian! I can do it by myself," Ciel replied.

"Alright my lord. I'll be waiting for you in the main entrance," Sebastian said. Ciel facepalmed himself.

'What the hell was I saying. I never get dressed by myself,' he thought. He grabbed the present and stuffed it under his shirt. He cautiously opened the door looking to make sure the coast is clear. Once he made sure the coast is clear he ran to his room. He got changed and grabbed his coat tucking the present inside his waistband.

"Alright Sebastian let's go," Ciel said as he walked down the grand staircase. Sebastian turned around smiling. Ciel watched as his butler's smile turned wider. Sebastian hid his hand with his glove chuckling.

"My lord. Look at you. You can't even get dressed by yourself," Sebastian chuckled. Ciel glared at him as his mistakes were getting fixed.

"Just shut up Sebastian," Ciel growled out looking away blushing. Sebastian stood up and he opened the door for his young master.

Ciel looked up at the snow that was beginning to gently fall to the ground.

"I didn't think it was going to snow tonight. Did you Sebastian?" Ciel asked. He waited for a reply but turned around when he heard no response.

"Sebastian?" he called out. The raven- haired butler poked his head up. He walked quickly to his young master.

"I'm sorry my lord. You can continue on to the bridge I saw something that I would like to investigate further," Sebastian replied. Ciel sighed and nodded walking to the bridge. He looked around at all the happy families that were walking around him. He sighed as he leaned on the edge of the bridge. He looked down at the river that ran underneath him.

'I wish I still had my family with me,' he thought sadly looking up at the darkening sky.

'I envy all the kids that have their family and their life is perfect.'

"H-Hey! Give me my purse back!" a women's voice shrieked making Ciel come out of his thoughts. Ciel stood up and saw a man running towards the bridge with a purse.

"In the name of the queen's watchdog. I order you to stop!" he yelled stepping in front of the mans path.

"I'd like to see you try," the man replied shoving him over the side of the bridge. Ciel looked up and crashed through the ice into the frigid water.

"Sebastian!" he yelled before he went under.

"Sebastian! This is an order. Save me!" he yelled again. Ciel looked up hopelessly through the murky water before he saw someone's hand reaching out towards him.

Sebastian's Perspective

Sebastian smiled to himself and walked to the stand he was just looking at before his young master called for him. He bent down and looked at the snow globes that were for sale. There was nothing that he thought his master would like but he could fix it up after he purchased it. He waited in line and smiled at the lady selling them.

"Good evening. May I have the snow globe that has the queens, palace inside?" he asked politely. The lady nodded and she handed one to him. With a smile, he handed her some money and left. Sebastian stopped walking and shook the snow globe violently. The snow swirled around making the snow globe white. Once the snow settled the palace was replaced with the Phantomhive mansion.

"Now that should please my lord more," he said. Humming Christmas carols he strolled to the bridge.

"Sebastian!"

"Sebastian! This is an order. Save me!" his master yelled out again. Sebastian bolted towards the bridge.

"Young master!" he yelled frantically looking around. He looked over the side of the bridge and saw that the ice was broken. He jumped over the side of the bridge and dove into the hole. He looked down and saw his master reaching out for him. He grabbed hold of his hand and swam up to the surface. He placed Ciel on the ice where he knew it would hold his weight.

"Oh no! I must have dropped the snow globe," Sebastian muttered. Diving back in he retrieved the snow globe.

"Alright my lord. Let's get you back home," he said picking Ciel up who was limp in his arms. Sebastian ran to the Phantomhive mansion with incredible speed.

He went into the sitting room and started up a warm fire.

"I have to get you changed into some new clothes."

"Finni!" he called. Finni burst into the room.

"Yes sir?" he asked standing tall.

"Go and get the masters night clothes," Sebastian instructed. Finni looked and Ciel and gasped.

"What happened to him?" Finni asked concerned.

"He fell into the river. Hurry up and get him some dry clothes." Finni nodded. Sebastian stripped Ciel out of his wet clothes. A package fell to the floor. Sebastian picked it up and looked at it quickly before putting it aside. Once Finni returned he knelt beside Sebastian and handed him the night shirt.

"The shirt seems too big on him. Where does he get them?" Finni asked. Sebastian slipped the shirt over Ciel's tiny frame.

"To be honest they are my old work shirts that I gave him to sleep in at night," Sebastian replied.

"Oh, that's very kind of you Mr. Sebastian," Finni awed. Finni grabbed the wet clothes.

"I'm going to bed now. Good night!" Finni yawned and walked out of the room. Sebastian sighed and looked down at his master that he lay across his lap. He took his gloves off and squeezed the access water out of Ciel's hair and watched the fire flicker in the fireplace.

Ciel stirred and slowly opened his eyes. He muttered his butlers name.

"S-Sebastian?" he asked. He focused his eyesight and found his butler staring down at him.

"Yes, I'm here," Sebastian replied.

"Where are we?" Ciel asked sitting up. He looked at the fire that was blazing in front of him.

"When I said you could leave where did you go?"

"I saw a suitable present to give to you for Christmas so I wanted to go back and buy it for you,"

"Present!? Have you seen a wrapped-up gift? Please tell me you also got the gift I was carrying,"

"Are you talking about this one my lord?" Sebastian held up a sopping wet gift in his hands.

"Oh my god! Sebastian I'm so sorry! If you would like I can have my company make you another one," Ciel offered flopping back into his lap. Sebastian looked at his master with a look of confusion.

"Did you get a gift for me? This is mine?" Sebastian asked. Ciel nodded covering his eyes and sighing. Sebastian tore open the wrapping paper like an over excited child. He gasped.

"My lord. You got me a cat? It's a cute stuffed kitten! It even has an eyepatch," Sebastian said happily. Ciel chuckled at his butler's childish response.

"I wrote on a note that I got you a cat that I'm not allergic to," Ciel said.

"Thank you so much. Now you close your eyes," Sebastian instructed. Ciel nodded closing his eyes but cocked an eyebrow. Sebastian took Ciel's hands and placed the snow globe in his palms.

"Alright young master you can open them." Ciel opened his eyes and looked at his present.

"A snow globe?" he asked looking at it. Ciel brought it closer to his face. He saw that inside was his mansion. Lights were on but one light turned off.

"Sebastian? How much people were buying my mansion?"

"No one my lord. If I were to be honest when I bought it inside was the queens palace. I wanted to make it more special for you so I changed it to the mansion. I also added some magic that way you would know who's where because of the lights," Sebastian explained.

"The light that just went off was Finni. He must of just went to bed," Sebastian said.

"That's interesting." Ciel shook the snow globe and it began to snow inside of the sitting room. Ciel looked up and started smiling.

"You never fail to amaze me Sebastian," Ciel said laughing.

"If a butler couldn't even know how to make his master happy, then what kind of butler would I be?"

"I just wanted to give you a simple one hell of a Christmas that's all," Sebastian finished smiling down at Ciel. Ciel rubbed his eyes and let out a huge yawn.

"I'm tired Sebastian," Ciel yawned.

"Yes, I know you would be. Let's get you into your warm bed." Sebastian picked up his young master and brought him into his bed chamber. Sebastian placed him gently on the bed and pulled the sheets over Ciel.

"Sebastian," Ciel called out as his butler began to leave. Sebastian turned around.

"Yes, my lord?"

"Thank you for this Christmas."

"Of course, young master," Sebastian said walking back and bending down to give him a kiss.

"Get some rest tonight," Sebastian said. Ciel watched as his raven-haired butler left the room closing the door behind him softly. He smiled touching his lips and slowly closed his eyes. He looked up at his bed canopy and saw something hanging.

"Is that mistletoe," Ciel thought just as he fell asleep.
