The Lady Or The Tiger? How About Both?
"Wait," The ivory haired princess called, everyone stopped to look at her. "I cannot watch this!" She finished. She ran away from her smaller throne, throwing one last look at her silver haired lover. I know what you're thinking, her look was 'despaired' and 'saddened'. No, not at all. Her look was more on the 'mischievous' and 'sneaky' side. The violet eyed man at the centre of attention paused on his way to the door. Should he choose right like she said? That glance she gave him, what did it mean? Then suddenly his eyes widened as he caught her hint. He walked up to the doors, as slowly as possible, and he examined them each. It was as if he was playing spot the difference. After a good ten minutes, he started running between both of them, running his hands over the carvings and designs of the intricate doors. Waiting another ten minutes, until he could feel the kings anger radiating off of him in waves, burning holes in his back, glaring daggers right through his being, venom practically dripping off of his angered gaze, he slowly slid over to the right door again, slowly inching open, creeping slowly, and what awaited him was what he had never expected. There stood the blue eyed princess. Bloody and sporting a few gashes. Her dress was replaced with pants and armor, her intricately done hair was down with a bow on the top and her hands holding a bloodied dagger. "Bela!" He gasped in confusion, turning his gaze to the lion that lay on the ground in a submissive crouch, also sporting a few injuries. "Onii-chan!" She exclaimed, jumping into his arms as they embraced. The shocked gasps and cries arose from the crows, before they started cheering happily as the silver wedding bells rang and the band came marching over to the couple, priest leading them all. They immediately were married and were to take their honeymoon as soon as possible. The king seethed with anger, but did not object for two reasons. One, Belarus and Russia had a lion under their control. Two, it seemed as though they had found a loophole. The kings hardened face finally softened as a realization dawned on him. ,This is not how the system should work, the maiden behind the door should be his wife, the one he had set his eyes on, or the perfect woman for him (not just in looks),' he thought to himself. This realization was short lived, for an arrow pierced his body, and he passed away with happiness in his mind, and an arrow in his heart.
