After a poopy 2014, here are some reasons why 2015 will become a better year for me:

#5: I got to see my best friend from Hiram G. Andrews Center, Lila at Ross Park Mall this past Saturday after not seeing her in a year, and now she doesn't have to worry about playing evil Maggie Hansen anymore.

#4: I celebrated Ukrainian Christmas with everyone from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, and Alex from Wizards. It's the very first time I celebrated Christmas after New Year's this year, since Christmas didn't work out for me so well this year!

#3: I will not wish for extremes in weather this year. I learned an important lesson in 2014, when it followed in the footsteps of 2010, which was a very unusual year weather-wise. That was one reason my Christmas was so bad this year, because I was bummed out about not getting a white Christmas. Oh well, at least there's always Christmas 2015!

#2: I came up with fun, unique holidays, one of them being Houseplant Appreciation Day this coming Saturday. There is also Random Acts of Kindness Week in February, Sun-Earth Day in March, and Random High Five Day in April.

#1: I spent the first 4 days of the New Year watching Liberty's Kids episodes. 4 of them I watched twice in the first 4 days: Sybil Ludington, Lafayette Arrives, The Hessians Are Coming, and Valley Forge, both on January 1 and 4 of 2015. I mentioned that many things will change for me in the new year, but my love of this series sure won't change. That series will always be in my heart until the day I die!
