It was supposed to be just another day on the Upper East Side but we all know that is never possible.
"Blair, I think we should talk. You know there's something I've been meaning to get off my chest." says Dan
"What Dan. What is it that you have the deep need to talk about? We agreed what happened last night would never be spoken of or happen again. It was a mistake." replied Blair
"Was it Blair? Was it a mistake or is that what you're trying to make yourself believe?"
"Dan you know this could never work. Your heart belongs to Serena and I.. Well I am way too damaged over what happened with Chuck." explained Blair
"My heart belonged to Serena until I got to know you. The real you. Working at W together made me realize that underneath the attitude and pride of yours, your heart is big and filled with passion, passion that is indescribable."
"Dan stop. Just stop." Exclaimed Blair.
"Stop what? What we have is real whether you want to admit it or not. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have agreed to spend the night last night when I asked you to. We both knew it was what we wanted. Let it go Blair. Let Chuck be where he belongs, in the past. All he ever did and will do is hurt you. You both know you don't deserve each other. He doesn't deserve you and you deserve more."
"Nobody will accept this. I have always talked down on you and made it clear to everyone the type of person I would end up with. I can't imagine the trash talking that would come my way. What would they think of Blair Waldorf being with… well… a Humphrey?"
"Quit Blair! When will the judgment of others not bother you? When you finally put your happiness above anything else. You do everything to impress others and never for your sole enjoyment. For once in your life, let go of what others may think of you and be the person you want to be."
"You see me. You see the real me Dan." Whispered Blair
"And I love the real you. You're everything Serena isn't. Let me show you what it's like to be cared for and given the unconditional love Chuck didn't know how to give you."
"Promise to love me at my best and at my worst. Promise to reassure me what I mean to you."
"I'll spend the rest of my life showing you a love you've never witnessed before."
"You're crazy Humphrey."
"I'm crazy for you Waldorf."
