Prologue…
Lucy: Hey, everyone! Lucy here! Welcome to my new story!
Alyssacookie: Hi! I'm the co-author! Here with us, are Silver and Blaze!
Silver: Hey.
Blaze: Hello.
Lucy: This should be a cute story, although I really don't know if it's gonna be a oneshot or not...
AC: Who knows?
Blaze: Romance story. That is good.
Silver: Sheesh, Blaze. Loosen up a little, would you?
Blaze: Fine, whatever.
AC: Me and Lucy own nothing except our computers and the idea, ok?
A purple cat was laying in the grass at the top of a hill. A slight breeze rustled through her whiskers, and the sun was shining with no clouds in the sky. It was a perfect day.
"And you know what? I'm bored." Blaze sighed, looking at the clouds.
Well, find something to do.
"Like what? Anything would be better than sitting here!" Blaze muttered.
Just be glad that you can sit in the grass! It could be worse. Like, what if a giant lava monster destroyed the world and you were one of the only two animals in the world who could stop it, and you died in the end anyway, then the whole thing was erased from time?!
Blaze stared up at the sky, confused. "That is ridiculous! Sounds like something out of a video game, or a comic book. Take some medication, psycho. Who are you, anyway?"
Why, I'm the narrator.
"What?"
Yeah. You see-
"Hey Blaze!"
Blaze gave one final glare to the sky, then rolled on her belly to greet the approaching psychic hedgehog.
"Hey Silver. What's going on?"
Reaching Blaze, the hedgehog plopped down in the grass and shrugged.
"Nothing."
Blaze suddenly perked up.
"Why don't we go visit Sonic?"
Silver frowned. What was it with her and Sonic lately? Ever since she met him during the summer last year while looking for the sol emeralds while he was away, she keeps on wanting to go back.
"Uh, I think that they're battling Eggman."
"That's something to do."
"Blaze." Silver said, getting frustrated. "Even if we went to help them, it would give Eggman a big head, like how they couldn't defeat him without help, y'know?"
Blaze plopped down on her back again sighing. "Ah, well. It'll only take like ten minutes for them to beat him. How'd you find out that they were fighting Eggman? Wouldn't they all be busy?"
Silver shifted his eyes. Caught! "Uh, Amy's always getting captured, and Sonic hadn't rescued her yet, so she called."
Now it was Blaze's turn to frown. Couldn't he talk to someone besides that clingy fangirl?
"Let me ask you something Silver. Do you like...Amy?" Blaze asked nervously.
Silver made a face like she had slapped him.
"Well, I like her but as a friend, I swear." Silver answered uneasily.
"Oh. Well, um. I was just curious." Blaze stammered, rubbing the back of her head.
"It's okay." Silver said, giving her an uneasy smile.
Blaze stood up and asked, "So, should we... visit them?"
Silver pondered for a bit, but answered: "Well, if...that's okay with...you."
Blaze and Silver then went to the Sol Emeralds altar near the castle. They each picked up an emerald, then shouted, "Chaos...control!" And they were off to the other dimension with a flash.
Lucy: How was it? Blaze: You made me seem paranoid! AC: Get over it. Blaze: -smiles evilly, begins to chase AC around, throwing fireballs- AC: Oh sugar honey iced tea! Ow! OW! OW! Silver: Uh, so read and review
