Alex was in the hospital waiting room. He was nervous because he was going to be a new dad. But he couldn't wait to meet his new son or daughter. He knew he'd be happy with either one. Two hours later the nurse came out and said, "you have a baby girl."
"Can I see her?" He asked. The nurse told him he could. Then the doctor came up to him and said "I'm sorry to tell you but the baby's mother died." Alex looked up at the doctor. As the doctor walked away Alex started crying as he knew he was going to be a single dad.
After the funeral for his girlfriend he finally got to take his lovely daughter Peyton home. As he walked out of the hospital he seen his friends waiting for him. They told him they were very sorry for the loss of Keira. At first he thought he couldn't take care of Peyton by himself but he realized he had his friends to help him.
When the got onto big air Alex took care of his daughter. He wondered if Peyton had the amp factor too. He smiled at her as she looked at him. He told her, "I'll protect you no matter what." He knew that Peyton is his world now.
Fidget came up to him and asked if she could hold Peyton. He smiled and let fidget hold her. Alex felt bad that his daughter won't have a mother in her life.
