Prologue

My life was perfect.....
I had anything a girl my age could possibly want I had an amazing loving family; my beautiful mother and I have always been close, my favourite memories with her were those of us sitting happily at my dresser talking, as she brushed slowly through my hair, we laughed, cried and gossiped about our lives. She was the perfect mother, so loving and understanding and so in love with my father that as my hormones hit and I began dating, I would always disappointed when I never felt anything close to what I saw in my mothers eyes when she looked at my father, but I kept looking hoping that one day I to would get that glitter in my eye when they fell upon the person that I loved.
My father was a wise man he had a high amount of respect from everybody in our town and anybody that needed any help or advice were most likely to visit my dad, he had a way of making you feel as though no matter what your problems were that everything was going to turn out ok! He always had this aura of certainty and control that you couldn't help but in awe of him, as if that wasn't enough he was also the chief of police, it was defiantly what my dad was designed to do and he flew through the ranks.
Me. I am just an average girl living in an average town with a more than average family I was happy and content
until fate had to go and mess all that up.
