I decided to try and write something serious for once with no little funny bits. Hope you like

Elle knew in her heart she was the equal of any man. No matter what her father said. She worked hard, she studied hard, she fought hard just to prove it.

She spoke nine languages by the time she was eleven and at sixteen and the head of her senior class.

All her father ever said was, "You could do better."

Everyone was proud of her when she became the first girl on the boy's football team. Well almost everyone.

"Girls aren't supposed to do those kind of things. Do you always have to embarrass me like that?"

It always seemed like the harder she tried the harder her father tried to tear her down. The only escape she got was when she went to go visit her mother, Eva, on the weekends.

"Elle don't listen to your father. There's a reason I left him he's an ass. Just focus on trying to get your education and out of that man's house."

"Thanks Mother you always know how to make me feel better."

Eva smiled. "All apart of being a mom. Go watch some TV I'll get dinner started."

"OK. Cool."

Oh course Elle would never tell her mother this deep down see still sought after her dad's approval.

Eva could sense this feeling. She sighed and continued chopping the onion.

Ezekiel Durand will he ever change?

Extremely short but fun to write. I feel bad for portraying Ezekial as the bad guy. Oh well it will pass. R&R please
