McGee placed the file he was holding in the tray on one of the desks and began walking back to his own desk when something caught his eye - a Goth girl crouched down behind a filing cabinet and peering around the edge. Intrigued, he approached her from behind.

"Uh, Ab-"

Before he could get out a sentence, she dragged him down by the tie and hissed at him to be quiet. He knelt behind her and tried to see what she was looking at. All he could see was Kate and Tony sat at a desk in the bullpen.

"Abby, what are you doing?" he whispered in her ear.

"What does it look like, McGee?"

"Um… you're getting intimate with the filing cabinet?"

She rolled her eyes at him and quickly returned to watching around the corner.

"So what if I was?"

"Then… I'd envy the cabinet," he spoke softly into her ear and she muffled a laugh.

"Well, there's no need to because I am not getting intimate with the filing cabinet McGee. I'm… observing."

"Observing what?"

"Kate and Tony."

"You're spying on them?"

"No, not spying Timmy, observing. Now shhh!"

McGee moved into a more comfortable position where he could "observe" his fellow agents too. They were too far away to hear what either of them was saying but McGee couldn't really see anything out of the ordinary. DiNozzo was saying something to Kate, then Kate rolled her eyes and then Tony threw something at her. They were both sitting at Kate's desk, eating out of a Chinese take-away box – Kate with chopsticks and Tony using his fork to steal her noodles.

After about 5 minutes of watching them talking and laughing and eating and picking on each other, McGee checked his watch.

"Abby… I can think of better things we could be doing with our time," he nudged the girl in front of him.

"Was that supposed to be suggestive of a particular activity Timmy?"

"No… uh… no not really…"

"Well then this is as good a past-time as any. I finished all my work and this is better than TV."

"Explain."

"Come on McGee! It's like watching a Disney movie!"

McGee cocked his head to the side in consideration. After a few minutes it clicked to him.

"Lady and the Tramp!"
